I have 2 lap tops. 1 for my main and one for my shell. I accidentally logged on my main on the computer that i use for my shell. should i unplug my router to reset everything? i just started rebuilding so i really wanna be careful.

I hope you use different proxies for them too. Two computers going through the same router will still have the same IP.

If you don't have different IP's on the computers, it won't matter if you use different computers.

I've done that once or twice, but nothing seemed to happen.
Probably, if you haven't been excessively cheating on one of the accounts, or the accounts aren't linked together too much, you'll be fine.

someone on here gave me the restting router idea but then i said...wouldnt both computers have the same IP anyway?
when I run abrosia I always have a proxy along with it

Think of the IP was belonging to the pipe entering your house rather than your individual computers.

good way to think of it. i have a proxy on abrosia and tempted to use it on my browser, too. but i dont think adding it to my browser would be necessary since i dont play on my shell while its abying.

....Errm. If you log into that shell without a proxy it won't matter that it's proxied when you autobuy...

Do you mean you use a proxy for Abrosia, but not when playing neo via your browser?

If so, that would look dodgy as hell to them. Especially if your proxy is in a different country than you are.

hmm. waser i didnt know that. so will abing on 2 accounts with a laptop and a desktop have the same effect as abing both accounts on the same desktop? because i remember reading something about not abing and playing neopets at the same time. without proxy of course

If you're not using proxies then, yes, both accounts would show up as the same IP in both of those circumstances.

is there a difference if i run 4 instances of abrosia on a single comp compared to 4 instance of abrosia on 4 comps? without proxy. or there will be no difference in neopets end?

I know that you cant surf+ab on the same account at the same time but what if i surf on one account and ab on another.

Zandra the only difference between 4 Abrosias on 1 pc and 4 Abrosias on 4 seperate machines would be increase in performance and even that would probably be negligable. There are plenty of guides on this forum about what proxies are, how they work, why you should use them and most importantly how to use them. You will not be able to make the most out of autobuying (or any cheating for that matter) without using proxies. I would advise you all to at least read the wiki entry on proxies, It's really not that difficult to understand.

My guess is that it would only stand out if a) there was a reason TNT wanted to look into your accounts or b) you did something really sus while the proxy was off and they checked IPs to chain freeze.

Otherwise you would probably fly in under the radar if it's just one time.
