I heard some people say they need to know the email u register on the account to hack , and neopet account password(obviously)
Why do they need to know your email and password to hack your account?
I dont think this is an area that you should be informed in here. Go ask on HB or something. We dont condone this sort of activity here.

After reading the whole thread I don't know if being careful is just enough, or if someone that wants to enter into your account will enter. I noticed that certain "groups" into neo are being massively hacked. I am talking about the Food Club guys, they have a thread on Games Chat, and therefore they are easy to spot, they are like 7-10 years old accounts, with tons of NP and earnings (FC earnings are public). Lately there have been a lot of FC people hacked and nobody knows how. I also noticed people winning gallery spotlights, neopet spotlight and etc are being targeted too. Not long ago there was a guy selling here the neopets of the girl that won a Gallery Spotlight. That's why sometimes I doubt if just being careful is enough, or they are gonna get into your account anyway if they want, no matter if your password is strong or you installed noscript/request policy to avoid cookie grabbers.
this is so true, I see CRAZY accounts with 10-50 trophies are being sold in HB forum
Recently, a guy named Danny in HB, update his list of 28 accounts, all of them are active and very good main accounts
