Just wondering.

Would after a week be about right to exhale? :x I want to use cheat engine on my main for a few game avatars... But not if it puts my account at risk forever.

I guess forever they will always have records of everything......you will never be 100% safe once cheated but of course the longer you get left alone the safer you are. Also depends on how much you cheat etc. It's all chance.

but why would they review records unless they had a reason to? Like if I get a high score for Escape from meridell castle and it's reviewed and accepted, shouldn't that be the end of that?

True but no one knows how exactly TNT work so its all risky so in theory once your score is reviewed then that's it. But say on a new account get all high scores straight away they review your first few and fine but then look back once you send more. Saying that your main should be alright if the programs are used very little with good settings.

I know some people who have been cheatin for 5 years, then stop after a year and get iced for it during their pause. There's really no rhyme or reason behind it

The fact of the matter is, TNT only catch you when they look into your activity. If they never look at you then you can keep going, they might catch you after 2 days, or 2 years. If you cheat you will allways be at risk im afraid.

Exactly. Ultimately your account remains property of Neopets and if they choose to end your account then they are entitled to do so. As with a lot of things just use your common sense and try and keep of TNTs radar.

This is the truth.

When I first started ABing, about 4 years ago I used to leave it on overnight, every night. I got frozen after about two months. Their reason? Multiple accounts. I hadn't used a second account for anything in probably a good 6 months.

And to be honest, I find neoboard participation to have a higher freeze rate for me than cheating. You are always at risk of being frozen as long as TNT are as terrible a staff as they have been recently.

I know a similar case, where a friend used repeatedly to get more benefits cheat and always blocked, and began to create manyaccounts at the same time to use these traps in many accounts without being detected. Result: All accounts frozen bymultiaccounting and traps

Whether you cheat or not, TNT can freeze you. There are so many cases of people being frozen for no reason at all. So, cheat wisely. At least you'll have more fun during your stay on Neopets if you do, rather than scrounging around for NP to buy a 5k chocolate for that avatar.

By the way, in your other thread, you said TNT said they don't have records of things that happened three years ago. Perhaps that goes for this as well.

It is tru that they'll freeze you for nothing, that I know. That's why I'm cheating now, rofl, because I put 7 years of legitimate work into my account only to have it frozen for "attempting to scam" and lost everything. I never scammed anything. o.o In fact, I lent stuff all the time because I liked being nice. And I never profited from it or anything.
