I AB'd a morphing potion (only my 2nd time in magic shop) and its worth about 11-15 mil apparently from lookin at the database. Is it safe to advertise on neopets trading boards or will that bring unwanted attention?

edit: there are actually other MPs of the same species for like 5 mil so I guess I wouldnt really get more than that

tbh i would probably hold onto it for a little bit if you just ab'ed it. Wait like two weeks then start advertising. You may lose out a little on profit but its not worth the risk otherwise imo.

Couldnt you post on the boards that you managed to snag it from the shop and then say youre willing to sell it? People brag about buying things all the time. Besides, has to be people that buy from shops legit and manage to get expensive items just to resell them. I don't see where the risk is.

yeah wait a bit and then stick it on the trades asking for offers. Advertise a bit but dont overdo it (especially if you dont regularly have high priced items for sale...)

Let it sit for a week or two. I know it will be tough, but it's better to not look suspicious.

A lot of the times in magic....if potions go very quick...the RSers will automatically assume that it's AB'd. If you go and start trying to sell it right away, they'll jump on you and tear you apart
    -speaking from personal experience-

Then start trying to advertise it. Don't go crazy trying to sell it (like you're playing a game of hot potato), or you'll look suspicious doing that as well.

Anybody that isnt a regular seller is usually treated with suspicion, so definitely hold off on selling for a day or two.

The Neoboards has been the quickest way to get yourself frozen in my experience, as people will report you and you will get warned merely for sneezing.

Make sure that your account appears legit before you advertise it, and refrain from advertising for a couple of weeks (just like everyone else suggested :p).
Get a decent avatar count, spice up your userlookup, and give your pets some customization/petlookup/petpage.

It will make you appear more legit to other players before you start advertising.

Going on the neoboards has a greater chance of getting you frozen than score sending, autobuying, and account stealing combined. All you need to do is make one wrong post, and piss one person off, and about 500,000 neopians will mass report you.

Whaaaat... I was so sure I'd see a post here from Scot with "Is x safe?" yes.

As someone said above, if you had to do it it'd probably be best to just say that you got one and wait for someone to ask you to sell it.
