I recently obtained an old account from my friend which is extremely old. What is the best way for me to switch all my assets (not much, <1 mil) from my current account to my new account without getting frozen?

I recommend you that you use the trading post to switch, if you would like to transfer not much money.

But if you could make it more legitately, such as the normal people do (the trading post with some high rariity items) that would make them much safer.

I recently recovered my old account and have transferred everything across from my 'new' account to the old one...When I was retrieving the login details from TNT I just told them that I wanted to to make the old account my main and to consolidate the two together. Then I just moved everything...pets, money, items etc. I still use the 'new' account for Habitarium though...and move the money across. The way I see it...It's all above the line and I've got nothing to hide. I'm not doubling up on anything that I shouldn't be...

If it's <1Mil, simply transfer through the TP with a junk lot, and put, 'Transfer to new main" as your wishlist. If you're not planning on using the newer account for anything, then simply stop using it, or just use it as a side. This is perfectly in line with TNT's rules, and they can't do shit. (Well, they can, but that's because it's TNT.)

If both accounts are legit I wouldn't imagine there would be a problem, especially if it's less that 1mil.

Ok then, I was scared that if I started earning money on the 'new' account I would get banned for multiple accounts

There's a few reasons TNT will ban you for having multiple accounts:

1. Multiple accounts with the same email doing dailies/things not allowed on a side account.
2. Multiple accounts with different email constantly sending NP/dailies items/freebies/giveaways to one account.

There may be other reasons, but if you did not commit either of the two underlined I believe it's safe. (:
I'm pretty sure TNT doesn't ban 2 or even more legit accounts for having the same IP.

Also getting an old account from a friend is also against the rules, so be careful
