WE FORGOT OUR DAMN PASSPORTS. Just came all the way home, picked them up, now to try again.
Birthday on trains all day? How fun -.-
You'd think they would just classify Switzerland like they do with EU countries and not need a passport to cross their border.
You could have also done a Sound of Music and gone over the alps.

Just got home. The journey on Friday that was supposed to take 3 hours took 9.5 hours and included 9 trains -.- And you're right, they never checked once! Everyone on the way there told us we'd need a passport. Bah.
Either way, it ended up being an AWESOME weekend. Makes up for the shitty journey

where were you travelling from?
We left from Herrenberg, a 30 minute train ride to Stuttgart which is where the next train was. I can't remember the name of the place where we got a train to cross the border, I just know it began with a K xD
