2) I'm just wondering how long they can stay 'child friendly' with now being able to log in with FB =/
Two things....

2) Neo can still have child-oriented things with the FB log-in. Remember, you have to be at least 13 to have a FB account you can control on your own. (the wonders of COPA) You still can't talk about your FB profiles and such on the site, so there's a decent separation

1) One thing. I don't know why, it doesn't even matter how hard you try--keep that in mind.1) Does it seem like the TNT abandoned the idea of Lutari island, or are they just waiting for the Lutari Birthday?....

1) I would say they probably have something else planned for it. Heck, they added it as a place to have a Neohome 2.0 as well. Maybe another mobile service is coming in the near future?
2) Bleh. Haha

Everything has facebook connectivity these days, and the fact that you can't actually talk about facebook on the site seems to suggest that it will stay as it is.

Just because it exists doesn't mean it is going to be built upon. Look at jelly world. I have a feeling that project has been abandoned.
Good point... but one can hope. XD

1) It's like they're ignoring it, but they have a plan for it. It used to be for their failed mobile service. I'm sure if they were just going to trash it, they would have just erased it from the site and never mentioned it again. Remember, they still have the talisman, the Lutari pets, and all that stuff. Would be too much of a headache for them.
The Talismans and Lutari-themed pets actually have some sort of function though.. that map really doesn't.

TNT's too busy playing fashionista with the NC mall
Making big bucks.
and continually denying that UC pets will give any revenue.
They forget that many of the people with UCs are those who have the ability to pay whenever and whatever they want.

I don't understand how you are making a connection between facebook and not being child friendly. Don't little kids have facebooks now?
The very idea behind facebook is not something your average kid gets into. That and, if facebook intergration gets any worse the staff lose the ability to police every little thing on their website.
I don't see it happening. But these are reasons why it is plausible.
