So I just wanted to know if this is careful or any tips.
Here's what I do, I've been using my boyfriend's computer for an shell account and I've been running Abrosia on it but only for about an hour, stocking my shop with those items and sometimes putting up trades for myself but biding on a side account as well or putting up auctions and bidding with the side account like an anoymous user i guess. But I've been using my main account and my side account on my computer, using different browsers. I only AB on my shell account on his computer. Tips? Thoughts? Anything?

Not bad, remember to use proxies, and don't log on to YOUR account at all with your bf's comp.
Other than that, not bad.. I think you could stretch the time from 1hour to maybe 2-3 if you really wanted.

You won't get frozen just because you don't use proxies. lol If you ARE frozen, not using proxies usually leads you to being chain frozen.

There is no way for me to use proxies. I've looked some of it up but it costs and I don't have extra cash for it. I have logged on onto his on my main accounts but not using the same browser as the one I use for my shell. But like once or twice. All of this is kind of confusing lol.

I personally don't use proxies at all, and nothing bad has happened to me yet. Not even when my shell account got frozen for getting a ridiculously high score in Kass Basher.

I generally run Abrosia for 2-3 hours a day on the school computers using-pretty-close-to default settings, then I go home and run it a few more hours (with the same settings).

And I'm using Abrosia on multiple accounts, which probably will get all of them frozen eventually... oh well.



But anyways, there are a bunch of free elite proxies... I've used them before (but not with Neopets/Abrosia though).

The main advantage with proxies is just so you don't get chain frozen (since many/most of the users here have at least a few shells) o:

There are free proxies that are available to be used o: ~
&I'm pretty sure using different browsers don't change your IP address-- but I mean, if you're using separate computers then it should be okay cx

Do you live with your boyfriend or is it a completely different IP?
I live with my GF, would it be better if I used my main only on her computer? or does it make a difference.. I never even considered it as an option (because I don't like Mac's mostly).

If it's still under the same IP address then it doesn't really matter if you use a separate computer or not then (since either way TNT still sees it under the same IP address)
..Of course, I could be wrong though, so somebody can feel free to correct me X3

So I added a proxy into Abrosia and what does "User Agent Settings" mean or do? Also how do I know if it works or what are the rules to these things?

Once you figured that both of computers share the same IP, you have only one solution, that is a free proxy.
Or if your connection is DSL, maybe reseting the modem before each login would help if you don't have a fix IP.

Well, it depends of the proxy...
I picked one yesterday that isn't working today...

I would love to get an indication of a nice proxy too, as I recovered my old acc. (AAA!)

Eh I suggest not using a proxy. With the shell accounts I had that I used a free proxy for, they were frozen because I guess... a lot of cheaters use the same proxy. The reason was always "Your account was frozen because your IP has a history of illegal activity" or something along those lines, one account which didn't even have anything on it (was only aging it).

I AB on my main and various other accounts at the same time with the same IP on the same computer (because I'm nuts) and I've had no problems so far. I'm not suggesting you follow my path, but I'm just saying that it seems to be best if you just do all your activities with the your own IP (it's not all that weird for multiple players to use the same IP). From my personal experience, if the proxy is up for grabs for anyone out there, it's not worth using.

If you want to be really safe, just make keep only minimal contact with your main (i.e sending nps or items).

Oh, and the problem with proxies is that many of them don't last for more than a few days, which is a hassle since you have to constantly find a new one. I'm not the best expert on free proxies, but that's just my own experience. I'm sure other people will be more helpful there.

I'm not an expert at transferring nps, but what I do is just use those sides to create my dream pets and then after a certain period of time, just transfer them over to a different shell (until they're ready to move to my main or a side). Though, I think the safest way to keep your main safe is to not transfer anything from the super illegit accounts except onto shells until a safe amount of time has passed. I also AB on my main so it's not like I really need to "move" nps anyway.

Though I would just play it safe for now, especially if your ABing shell is still pretty new. My shells are all 3+ years so that might make a difference. Definitely don't try what I do... since I'm not all that attached to my accounts and wouldn't be all that devastated to find out I've been frozen.
