Hi guys,

I've just come back to Neopets from a few-years-long hiatus. In the past 1 week, no 5 days, I've had like 5 faerie quests. 1 water faerie that was there when I came back, 1 dark faerie, 1 battle faerie, 1 earth faerie, 1 light faerie, and now 1 fire faerie. The last 3 happened within 24 hours.

When I stopped playing Neopets afew years back faerie quests were VERY VERY RARE events. I think in the years I played it before the hiatus I only got like one every 2-3 months. So is this frequency of quests a new trend, or am I extremely lucky, or is the TNT giving loads of quests to see if I complete them right away or wait for a few hours, thereby concluding that I'm AB-ing, or am I just being jumpy???

TNT isn't testing you, no need to be paranoid. They probably seemed more rare before because you didn't play as much. They restructured the quest system last year, so they could have tweaked the rates at which quests are given. Especially if you AB, it's normal to get a faerie quest every day.

Don't sweat it. I don't complete my faerie quests as soon as they come, or even weeks after they come. I do them whenever I get pissed about not being able to use the Shop Wizard. They're not testing to see if you complete each quest pronto.

It's a lot more common now than in the past I have noticed as well.

It has certainly increased in frequency and nowdays while abing you can expect to get a faerie quest.. It a good source of cheap stats and is reasonably reliable especially when you only have 1 pet.

for me it's the opposite, I haven't had a faerie quest in months, even with all my ABing and running other codex programs. =p

have you checked the quests page to make sure you dont have a crafting faerie quest? That one still lets you use the SW/SSW.... I thought it was odd when i hadnt gotten a quest in a couple of weeks (when i used to get them almost daily using Abrosia), went to check the neopets.com/quests.phtml page and BAM! A damn crafting faerie quest.......

Since the end of the faerie's ruin plot, there has been an increase in quest activity also as the faerie's are "rebuilding." I read this in an editorial on neo, I'll see if I can find a link to it. :)

(Edit: Herm.. I searched SunnyNeo's editorial logs and could not find the entry I remember. I guess I'll strike that out.)

Neocodex has a sub-forum on this event here in case you want to learn about it, or above that is the plots area so if you want you can read about other plots you may have missed.

Don't worry, they're not stalking/tracking you. We all get them. Like mentioned above, just watch out for the crafting faerie, she's annoying.

    You're being jumpy :3

I doubt that TNT really cares/notices how long somebody might take to complete a quest anyways, sometimes I get quests without even noticing (so therefore I'd take longer to complete it) xP

Although I will agree with you, once I got back from my hiatus I was a bit surprised that I got faerie quests so often cX

Yeah I was quite freaked out the way I got quests on a daily basis, 'cuz when I stopped playing Neopets like 7-8 years ago faerie quests were super super rare. I think you'd probably pick up 10 codestones lying on the floor before you got a faerie quest back then haha.

On a side note no wonder all the pets nowadays have such high stats. Back then a 60 HP pet was sth to be proud of man!
