So with programs being removed from the program manager, they will obviously have to be made again. I figure it'd help give the team a better idea of where to start with a poll.

If there was a program removed that I haven't added, just post it and I'll add it.

Edit: Neopoint Generator removed from list as it's a quick program to make.

The Neopoint Generator would be the easier one I think since it's just basically running through a list of links.

Yeah that'd be done pretty quickly, I'll remove it from the list actually as I guess it's not a serious consideration.

Current list (in order of my priority)

    • USAB (converting to my new manager)
    • Neopoint Gen (Sponsor Clicker) (converting to my new manager)
    • Avatar Grabber (basically Sponsor Gen with clickable Avatars for new accounts) (converting to my new manager)
    • Mass Neomailer (converting to my new manager)
    • Item Transferer (converting to my new manager)
    • Auction Sniper (converting to my new manager)
    • Scorchy Slots (converting to my new manager)
    • Scarab 21 (converting to my new manager)
    • MTG (converting to my new manager)
    • BlackJack AP (converting to my new manager)
Pretty much I have them written but making it easier on YOU guys to use them Im merging them all into one program like the Cdx Manager

They will be windows only (sorry MAC fags).

Once converted, I'll fill the other gaps.

    Are they in python?

Tbh, I don't understand the logic behind moving to Python to make it easier for people to learn code, only to switch to a programming team-only structure where you have to know programming anyway xD

Python is much easier to learn than Java and quicker to develop. :p

Programming languages and GUIs aside, I need the auto trainer first. It looks like I'm not alone ;)

Thanks for making this poll, Sida.

I will concede to allowing the Auto Trainer and Kad Feeder to be re-enabled.

I don't think its fair to the members of the site to just remove it like this.

You can keep those two programs up for a maximum of two months, while you replace it with a new one.

I agree with Kad Feeder. I was pretty "@____@" when I saw it was missing. Also, the pet transfer utility? I'm pretty much lost with out this one. :/ I appreciate all the hard work being done. I just wish you guys would have kept the programs in there until you remade them. I'm pretty much screwed with out it.

Mac friendly stuff pretty please. Half the 'mac' programs on the program manager just crash constantly as it is. :(

I recommend http://www.parallels.com. Parallels is software that allows you to create Windows virtual machines that integrated seamlessly on a Mac OSX system; then you can run the Neocodex programs in a Windows virtual machine to avoid the problems with the Mac versions.

Or just run Boot Camp and duel boot windows/mac. Then you have the best option...to forget mac altogether.

But Boot Camp requires a full system reboot to switch. With Parallels, the Windows virtual machine can be integrated directly into the OSX system (my Windows programs start/act/look just like Mac applications; in fact, the only way to determine if I even have a VM running is to check the menu bar at the top of the screen for the Parallels icon.)

Also, I am not a fan of 99% of Apple products (my iPhone is the worst piece of technology I have ever owned); however, there are some great uses for the Mac OSX systems (Linux administration + a Mac/Hackintosh workstation = a god send -- Terminal and Finder integrate with *nix based servers so much better than downloading third party software (Putty) in order to interact with a server.

I suppose if he's only going to use it for programs he could set the resources pretty low. And yeah I agree that's better than PuTTY, and of course there will be some advantages, but for me personally and what I use daily, I could never live on a mac. I'm typing on a MacBook Pro at the moment that sits behind my monitor as if it were a PC, running Windows on the majority of the HDD.

I don't really want to run Windows...or emulate Windows...otherwise I'd be using a Windows PC and not a Mac. It's just extra hassle and additional CPU usage. Is it such a crime to want to be a designer and a neopets player? :(

No, but its a crime to think that you have to have a mac to be a designer.

Amen! Funny thing is, for so many years everyone was screaming that Mac displays had the best color settings, but two or three years ago they adjusted their gamma finally to match what everyone else has been using ...
