if someone lends me a fqd, for example, and i lend a friend who just happens to be on before giving the item back, is this allowed? just checking because honestly, tnt's rules confuse me. :/

thanks in advance :)

I'd recommend you get permission from the person who let you borrow it first because if your friend loses or steals it you'll be held responsible for it. It's not yours to decide who to lend it to, you're just lending it yourself.

I'm not sure on the actual rules but a lot of the time it comes down to the person lending. Like Waser said, if anything happens it is on you.
It would have a lot to do with the terms of the lend, whether it was for free, pure or items. Most people wouldn't care if you gave them full collateral in exchange.
I've borrowed with full collateral before and sent it to my side and a friend too and it was not a problem.

I'm sure many lenders have heard that someone's "friend" had stolen an item. You should definitely ask first. :p

If I were lending, I wouldn't want that to be done with my item.

Does TNT actually have any rules on Lending?

I'm pretty sure if you lose the item, TNT will do nothing about it for any party.

Well, at one point you could have a friend of yours give collateral for you to get lent, but that is now against the rules.

If you do in fact lose the item, the lender will report you for scamming and if you did actually scam you will be frozen. If you lost it to a random event or something, I doubt you would be frozen but just hated for the rest of your Neo-life. xD

Well I mean, like Cold just mentioned, if you steal an item then that would be considered scamming and would result in being frozen I suppose :p ~~

But back to the original question-- It really just depends if you'd be willing to take responsibility if your friend steals/loses the item(s)

I'd say it's fine, as long as you, the initial borrower can and will replace anything your friend lost.
