I'm having trouble remembering a birthday of mine on one of my old accounts and have been doing detective work to try and get it.

When I used to sign into Neopets back in the day and it used to have the screen that made you pick your age group (under 8, 9 to 14, etc), I used to pick the oldest age group, and possibly the oldest age in the drop down when I signed up. It would help me to figure out the earliest year they used to include in the old registration page in order to help me figure out the year I used for my old account (seeing as I made it when I was 12 and lied about my age).

Anyone have any idea? I tried to check archive.org but neo isn't on there anymore. :( The old days were good.

Thanks for any info. :)

You can just email the help desk, it's a really common problem and so long as you know information about the account that only the owner would know, they will just tell you the birthday. :)

Honestly, just contact support and they can help you solve the problem. Its way easier then continuing to guess which year you used years ago.

I think you have to wait over months before you get a reaction of TNT :p

They sorted me out within a month, and once they were on my ticket they were replying to emails straight away with quite a bit of back and forth (I only knew really weird random stuff about the account so they had to do some digging). I know a month isn't *great* but it's not terrible either.

They've replied to an email of mine and helped me get an old side back, so I just have to be patient.

I just worry this account is even OLDER than the one they helped me get, and they might purge it or something before I get help. :p Thanks for the tips though.

Oh sweet nostalgia I remember those buttons. With pets on them that got significantly cooler the higher the age. And Neopets Junior omg. I was fresh out of toddlerhood when I made that account bwahahaa.
I lost a birthday on a really old account too. I've actually submitted 3 tickets over the past year (February was the first one...) and haven't gotten anything back :/
