I got it within a few tries on my main but on other accounts, I'm having no luck.

I spent about 30k. (:
I hold the F5 button down for 20 second intervals and check in between.
Holding the F5 any longer may alert tnt that you're using a refresher or program though, so I don't recommend holding it too long.

I've never tried for LoD, I don't care for avatars much and don't want to spend all that.

I used to have it on my old (*now frozen) account. It cost me about 850,000 NP to get. Did it manually though, because I was bored that day. LOL.
