So someone closed my first thread, after someone posted that program manager was fixed. I know it's fixed, but it's still not working for me. I'm not sure why because they say it's back up, so any help would be appreciated.

but I'm still getting the error message

This tells me nothing useful. What is the error message? And if the error message tells you that it created a log file, can you please include the contents of that log file?

I'm not a fortune teller, or psychic, or any of those kinds of things. :p

Sorry this is the message I get:

See the logfile 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Neocodex\Manager\pre_loader.exe.log' for details.

    *sigh*

    http://stackoverflow...-80-error-10013

This person said disabling their firewall worked.

    Another guy said:

One of the suggestions I found while googling for the error was to restart
the computer... sure enough that fixed it.

    http://mercurial.selenic.com/bts/issue2563

    Have you:

    a) Tried restarting?
    b) Disabled any firewalls?

You may also want to make sure the Program Manager is running in administrator mode (right click the icon, select "Run as Administrator" in windows 7 if that's what you have for an OS).

My firewall is disabled and I am running as admin, so I'll try restarting. Thanks for the help!

Can you confirm that it is now running for you so that this thread can be closed.

    Thanks.

Let's just assume that it is: no reply, not online - if there was another problem, they would've posted.
