Like the title sais... I just had an idea that we should have a competition with an online game.
This all kinda started because i want to play Halo Reach with Dolly and Yung so i can mop the floor with them
Hahaha... No but in all honesty i think it would be a lot of fun.
I know not everyone has Xbox (some of you guys have made it clear you guys are die hard playstation fans)
But right now im just brainstorming ideas so i need some help.
How would we go about setting something up like this on codex?
How do we pick a game that everyone will agree on...
and how do we pick prizes, or does each player have to "buy" in like a game of poker.
I want to see what ideas you guys have and maybe what you guys think in general.

I like how all of the discussions have focused around fps's. There are better games for testing skill

The ultimate test of skill would be Starcraft: Brood War.

The best fps's would be Halo or Counterstrike 1.6

The best for a fighter would be Dead or Alive 4

The best team game would be League of Legends.

Gears of WAr 2 is a possibility, but that's dependent entirely on the game mode and map.

Games that should never ever be considered for a game of skill.

Pokemon. Call of Duty Modern Warfare x. Anything past 2000.

1.5 is where it's at, before they destroyed real bunnyhopping and introduced gay ass riot shields.

If I had something better than my laptop to play from (I only get 15fps ), I'd definitely be running some CS 1.6 servers again but only cos WON authentication is completely gone so it's the only way to go.

I agree, I hated 1.6 when it came out, and I hated Source when it came out too ... but thank you Steam for taking away our chances at playing anything pre-1.6

And like usual i took something that was perfectly good - (playr.org)

and turned it into something horrible...
(went and downloaded about 3000 ROMS and all the Imulators i could find. Now its a clusterfuck of games on my desktop)
