We're now test-driving the small instance to see if it gives us enough CPU. If not, we'll move to the medium instance.

Small did not cut it. We're now using a High-CPU medium instance. The site actually has 25% more CPU than before, but less RAM. I need to go and change some configuration settings now so we don't eat up all the RAM....

Whats the plan to fix it? I'm curious

It was about 300 sendmail processes that django was generating that was eating up all the RAM, if you're so curious. That's why no one is getting registration e-mails and why the PM is down at the moment.

Sorry to hear that! Hope everything turns out okay. Best of luck to the admins. You guys are doing an awesome job <3. This site makes neopets MUCH more enjoyable and just wanted to say thanks to the admins and programmers since I haven't had a chance yet ^.^!
