My first time buying neopoints, and I'm pretttty sure I got screwed over. The user had a good trading score but then all of a sudden they became "trade banned" and someone else is complaining on their page that they are not getting their money.

It was 15mil for $16 since I had been searching for someone that'd accept $1/per 1mil. And I know a few people on here tend to be rude, but...just don't Yes, I know it happens. Yes, I know that 15mil is pocket change to some of you advanced members,. And YES I know that $16 probably doesn't seem like that much...but it is to some people.

/end rant. Now because well...I suppose their isn't anything that can be done.

Okay, so maybe I'm not *shrugs* I got a reply...now I'm just waiting.

yeah, i remember you were the one advertising to buy at the rate of 1 others:1m. NP is pretty cheap but just not that cheap, a quick visit to trade section will show plenty of people wiling to buy at "market rate". Just be careful when somebody offers you a too good to be true deal.


I guess mine was that after chatting on the boards, suddenly i got logged out and realized i got iced. all the legit hard work i put in was pretty much gone. The feeling just sucks when you put in so much effort, especially when you were just a small kid.

The worst so far I've experienced about neopets that I can remember is waiting to collect the halloween theme on my main (that one minute thing) and my internet went down just a few moments before, and went back up after that minute was gone.

Honeslty, no one sells at that rate unless they are selling in bulk (i.e. 100m+), really desperate for money at that time, or don't know they can sell it for higher and still have people wanting to buy it. Trade smarter next, I guess with people with trader scores more than 30 or look at their trade history and see if they traded with well-known

I really never had a moment of despair trading in NeoCodex. The closest thing worth being labeled as "despairing" is when the forum was running really slow or really down and I couldn't fulfill my orders.

I was getting promised a certain pet and I kept sending reminders, but the person disappeared,
Thankfully I hadn't given them any NP or $$$,but I still hate the feeling of getting so hopeful for a pet than never getting said pet T_T
