You might have a spot on the ol' progger team waiting for you. You should check out the program manager though. Gone are the days of having three or four programs competing the the same automation role. We don't have 3 or four autobuyers anymore. In fact, I think we've got just the one. Unless SS has one in his program manager. The only reason I keep mentioning his separate manager is that I only became aware of it a week or two ago.
I think I need to stay for awhile before I hold any type of position lol.

Python != Java, right?

I thought it was all in Python
Python != Java, right?
Correct, however, Java is just as usable as Python for situations and Java is more popular in the work place (seriously, who uses Python?)

How many people can say that playing an online game has given them the longest friends they've known?
Heheh, most of the friendships I've made online have lasted much longer than any other sort of irl friendship ^^ (excluding my best friend, we've known each other for ten years~ Can't say that about anyone other than her and my relatives though..)
Back in early 2009 a little project called Pokemon V started up on /v/. The game's story seemed interesting, the people who posted in the original threads seemed pretty nice, and I wanted to help out~ So I joined their forums and got to meet the members a bit, got on their IRC channel, time went by etc etc... And my god were the people who worked on it amazing, and so influential!! It's a bit strange saying that I learnt and experienced more in three years in some 4chan Pokemon project, but it's the truth~ Aaaah I love them all so much ;w; It's a shame that most of the old members left, but we still get in touch through Facebook and the like!

The main codex one is written in Python
Mine is written in good ol' VB6 (not .net). I don't have a Autobuyer in it, but I do have my own Autobuyer that I could potentially convert to put in there... But I don't want to, because it was designed to fill the gap in programs that the other programmers did not want to make (Money Tree Grabber, UsershopAB, Auction Sniper etc)
I actually came across my old VB6 Autobuyer yesterday xD

When was the last time I seriously used a program? I'd have to think for a while to answer, although I'm sure LW will be by shortly to give the exact date and time of my last program use.
Fuck, that would make me look like a *gasp* neopets player!
I honestly thought it was Java though. Who uses Python?
*remembers this!*I actually came across my old VB6 Autobuyer yesterday xD
I don't think that many can say that they do

I'm new to this forum, but I know how it feels like to be well liked in a community with a lot of friends but now no longer the case because of how people come and go and move on with their own lives.
My own experience came from a really old forum dedicated to a manga/anime title, and I was really active on there and made a lot of friends. It was peaceful at the start as there were very little users on that forum during its early stages. Almost everyone knew each other pretty well, and we used to chat with each other using msn's group chat feature.
And then there was a sudden influx of members when the manga got released as an anime and attracted many more fans. During that phase, things got bad as there were many members with highly opinionated views and liked to bash others who think otherwise or start flame wars.
Many of my friends were caught under fire, including those who were moderators too. The whole forum just wasn't the way it used to be anymore, and many of them left that place.
The last straw was when one of my friends started disagreeing with another, which led to a cold war between both of them. The rest of us didn't find it a good time to continue group chat as it didn't feel right without them and we just kinda went our own ways from then on...
Wow... reminiscing all these made me realise how much I miss the good old days.

I know what you mean about the bashers. Luck for us we started off with the bashers so we learned to cope. Most bahsers actually turned out to be sour old members so it was easier to deal with. But its still hard as the new bashers get bashed out lolWoah, I actually read through all that... It was interesting though, so it was time well spent. ^^

I haven't been on this forum long enough to know anyone, let alone older members, but he does seem quite interesting. Great to get some insight into the beginnings of the forum.
Thanks for reading it

I've had my tiny share of forums, but sadly, I'm no longer friends with the high majority. One forum I remember I was pretty popular (with my graphics, anyways. They were pretty much all n00bs and were amazed for some reason) but I've left that. I occasionally talk to a mod from there, but nobody else since.
I used to go on KHI a lot, but I only have 4 people I talk to from there. Then again, that whole fandom, I make a point of avoiding anymore. Ever since I left the KH fandom for good, the only forum I really even go to is Neocodex, and obviously I'm not the most active member here either.
Asides for causing lots and lots of drama, I really have no stories to tell. :cc

Later we had sex. So ...Codex by extension and medium was a tool she used to get laid
I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing about this x3
Anyway, I haven't been here long but I've already made good friends :3
Back in the day I was always on rpg forums. I had made a few good friends on them but none of them transfered over through my life.
The longest friendships I've had were via AIM. I had been a long time AIMer. From probably 2005 til last year when the whole scene REALLY went to shit. It had already been bad for a while but then it got a lot worse. I still talk to a lot of my good friends from there on facebook or on the phone. I made some of the best friends I've ever had on AIM. Had a few e-relationships. Which of course were pointless as are pretty much every relationship via AIM. It had it's ups and downs and I was fucked with plenty. I mean, who hasn't gotten messed with on AIM? But the years I spent on it with the friends I made were worth it.
