You guys are starting to sound like the "invisible children" people.

If you guys want to make a difference why don't you go out and actually do something.

Like go out on Christmas eve to Skid row in L.A and hand out blankets and food to the homeless...

But I'm sure because I write about being drunk and not about the good things I've done I'm automatically the bad guy.

Those of us who don't drink and drive are actually making the choice to not increase the chances of causing an accident by driving while under the influence.. I think that counts as doing something I'm glad you don't take those meds anymore, but the guilt-free part disturbs me.. But then maybe you were the only one involved in the accidents.. By hitting a tree or something. At least I hope.

Ya... I don't feel guilty because I've never hit anybody.
But what I meant was that I don't think about hitting people when I drive. Its not a thought I have.

my haha was taken out of context and placed right after the driving drunk part.
I know driving drunk is bad. I admitted I have done it. I am sure 75% of the people who drink have at one point driven drunk they just wont admit it.
and I'm sure none of them were thinking about the consequences while they were doing it.
That's all i was trying to say.

You sound almost certain that I will kill somebody. So from now on I promise I will have a sober driver.

You wouldn't have to wait as long as it would take for applause from all the people killed by drunk drivers.

What I know for sure is that drunk driving impairs your ability to drive, the same way that driving without having my contact lenses in impairs my ability to drive. There are laws against doing so for a reason.

And this is coming from a Texas native, where drunk driving is a sport, as well as shooting jackrabbits from a moving car.

There are also laws regarding speeding, but thousands of people do it all the time, without even thinking twice.

Legality shouldn't even have anything to do with it.

Drunk driving is still irresponsible and reckless behavior, and is generally frowned upon. This shouldn't come as a shock.

I am sure 75% of the people who drink have at one point driven drunk they just wont admit it.

I am 100% that < 10% of the people I know have driven drunk. There is this oh so wonderful thing referred to as common sense that states that if you are drunk then you shouldn't get behind the wheel of a vehicle because that puts the lives of other drivers at risk and not just your own. Common sense from losing people in your life due to other people driving drunk and having accidents with them should not only encourage but downright compel you to avoid drunk driving at practically any cost. This reckless endangerment of others and lack of concern for doing so is what has everyone against you on this. You're not funny, you're not impressing anyone, hitting on girls on our forums and through pm's is furthering the hurt you are only causing yourself and the headache you inflict on the poor victims you choose to hit on. /end rant.

i am 16 and i am definitely female. although i love being regarded online as male because i don't particularly enjoy being a female.
