Hey Guys I have a 4+ year old account and been using AB autobuyer to help me manage my shop. I bought a few decent items and have them being sold for a relative lower price that the market(used the forums Item Database). Anyways was wondering If I am doing something wrong? Just restarted so My shop size is fairly small 8 and have around 10 items in there. What do you guys recommend? What is the best place to set up shop? How do I make my shop stand out from others? Noob Question but says 150 to start shop but I believe I paid those already. How do I know if my shop is public? In addition is there a way to check how many hits my shop has gotten? Sorry if its asking for a lot and any answers are appreciated.

Price things below market, and wait.

Putting any other kind of effort into your shop is an unmitigated waste of time.

Where your shop is doesn't matter. If you have a shop its public, there's really no way to make it stand out apart from advertising on the boards. I don't believe there's a way to check how many people have visited your shop. I recommend continuing to AB and stock a variety of items in your shop at competitive prices and people will come. Sometimes it may take a while for certain items to sell if they aren't in high demand but keep patient and eventually someone will come along who wants that item. I usually keep about 100-200 items stocked in my shop and have a fairly steady income from people who buy stuff. Just keep at it and i'm sure you'll be seeing profits in no time :)

Just put your prices lower than what you find in the shop wizard and you should be able to sell, unless the stuff it really hard to sell

Yeah items won't simply be bought instantly like in neopet's main shops. User shops take time because in order to sell the items you bought you need three things:

    • The price to be one of the lowest on the shop wizard so users will pick you first.
    • A user who wants your item and will search it up and buy it.
    • Patience to wait for your items to sell.
    Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Also the AB is not stocking my shop with items recently purchased although it set to those settings. Do you know any reason why this might happen?

Don't use your judgement from the past.
Things in neo change too frequntly.

Just use NeonAP, it is in the Program Manager that you have to use to get to Abrosia. It's very easy to use.

so ABer isn't putting the items you buy in your shop? I'm not really sure how to fix this so it automatically does it (you may have to contact one of the programmers about that) but you can always just quickstock manually every hour or so...

You really shouldn't run ABer more than 2-3 hours at a time to be safe so just quickstock at the end and then use the autopricer to price everything.

Chances are that if the program manager isn't putting things in the shop for you then you have one of the setting clicked on the wrong thing. More than likely. The program manager is very accurate and I doubt only you would be having that problem if it was a problem with the program itself.

The program manager buys all sorts of cool things for you but it cannot make other players buy those items. So just be patient and you will slowly start making neopoints. This is not one of those "get rich quick" schemes because this actually works but it takes time and lots of patience. Also... The things that are in demand vary a lot. Basically month by month. Also if there are any plots or events going on, that will influence the type of items being bought.

Just keep your eyes open and try and see what people are talking about and what people are interested in. It will take a while before you can actually see the trends, but once you figure it out it will be very easy to make neopoints.

Made my first sale today of 10k! Not much but off to a good start. I applied all the tips given above but the item was acquired through key quest game. Hope I get luck with AB and buy some nice items.

If it's not putting items into your shop, it might be something as simple as your shop already being full.

What I do, is let Abrosia price my items for me, and then slowly lower each item each day until they are all sold. For example, Abrosia prices an item at 7000, the next day I lower it to 6800, then 6600, then 6400, and eventually it will be gone. It saves time, instead of having to get a good price check on the item. Just lower each item slowly, they will sell and you'll make your np.
