If you download the image to your computer, it will show the one it should. However my browser wont display it properly

I have noticed that if you navigate to the front page of the site @ www.neocodex.us it shows up. But when you click to go to the forum, it's back to the IPB default one. Could what they guys in the second link are talking about with forwarding be the issue?

 

Nope, works fine in Firefox, just not Chrome.... -_- (probably a case of it lagging behind).

I just got my friend who has never been to the site before (and happens to live with me ) to check it out, and he got the updated favicon. It is a cashing issue on our sides

Browsers are naturally greedy about favicon caching.

That's weird, I see the favicon in my tabs on Chrome?

Are you sure yours isn't cached?

^ That seems to be the favicon being used on the default skin and it looks fine to me.
