How do you you?

[trizzle]

Q: What does advanced do for me, and how do I get it?
A: Currently there are two ways to gain advanced. Make around 400-500 non spam posts and then wait for current advanced members to vote you in. You can always ask someone to make the topic. Or you can simply pay 5 dollars a month (3 if you buy 6 months at a time). Advanced currently offers the following benefits:

• Abrosia:
  • Custom wait and delay times
  • Pick what shop you visit
  • Purchase items from the Attic
• Neopoint Generator - Neopoint Generator is currently disabled due to Sponsor Links no longer working
  • Make 96k NP instead of 35k NP
• Auto Adopter
  • Search for Draiks or Krawks
  • Search for more then 3 pets at a time
• Neon AP
  • Move items from Shop to Trading post
  • Move items from Shop to Auction House
• Item Database
  • Use the Restock List creator feature to create your own custom restock lists
• Cellblock
  • Use a more advanced AI
• Forum
  • Get a new user title
  • Access to the Mystery Picture as soon as it comes out, instead of the day before the next one.

I see, well do they just voted you in when they see you have over 400 messages or do you have to tell them?

Check in the Bilge Dice APer thread.

No, you also have to be active and helpful/contribute

...or do you have to tell them?

Well you could ask an Advanced+ user to make a voting thread for you if you want to, but that probably won't leave a very good impression & you'll still have to be an active and contributing member or else users will just vote for you not to get Advanced+
