I need to broaden the music I listen to. So I have this playlist of some of the songs that I can't go without. Please if you know of any bands or singers that the playlist brings to mind tell me, and if you have a playlist of your own I'd love to see it. I'm too lazy to look for bands myself.

Playlist link!

Sorry if there is already a topic like this. I couldn't find one.

You can try listening to Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, Birdy, Coldplay and maybe Maroon 5?

Those are the artists I frequently listen to anyways.

I've listened to Coldplay and Maroon 5, but I have never heard of the others. Thank you =]

It's not an accurate depiction of my taste since hypem isn't a source for older music but it's a great place to find new bands and stuff.

I listen to this guy everyday, I firmly believe he'll be big one day.

These are based mostly off the Shins and Modest Mouse in your playlist. And the Neutral Milk Hotel.

I don't know any of those artists but this is what I do when I want to find new music.

Try going on Spotify and typing the artists you like and look at the related artists.
You could also try looking at the band members other bands or albums they've guested on.
Find the song you like on YouTube and look at the related videos and play random songs you thing look good.

What older stuff? I've always been a huge fan of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Peter Paul and Mary, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dio, Rush. I actually know of more older music than newer music, just because my father was constantly listening to music.
