Do I need a proxy if my ISP uses dynamic IP?

I was reading through most of the boards about chain freezing and the use of proxies and all the safeguards needed. I was surprised that I took none of these steps for years but never was frozen. I run 3 accounts on neopets using different browsers at the same time, (1 on FF, Chrome, IE each).

Was wondering whether I was lucky due to the dynamic IP? My ISP changes the IP address almost every few seconds.
And if so, should I bother using a proxy server?

I'm not a computer wizard, but you may still be in danger: Not for the reason of being cloaked by a constantly changing IP, but rather you stated you use three browser at the same time. There's a small chance that TNT can see the pattern in IPS in the three accounts and be smart about it. But I doubt it. Since when is TNT smart about freezing people?

But using the PM (Abrosia, SSer, etc.) is a higher risk than playing Neopets on three different browsers because there's a higher chance of being "flagged" into a list of reviewing accounts. The people who actually got frozen simply by using the browser is significally less than people who use programs. What can people get frozen for by using the broswer: autorefreshers? Some battledome scripts? some game scripts?

Again, I'm not a computer wizard, but I still advise you to still have a proxy (at least for your most valuable account)

If you play on three different browsers, and your accounts don't interact with each other much and you play legit, it could well fly by their radar because it looks the same as a family who plays Neo together. Since you're playing at the same time, I'm sure they could see that all 3 accounts log in using the same IP at the same time, even if that IP changes over time. I would start worrying if you start doing risky stuff like ABing. Once one account gets frozen, it's possible the others might get chain frozen.

Well the accounts have a lot of interaction. The transactions are so obvious that should neopets decide to audit I'm sure they will all be chain iced.
On a side note, I've been autobuying in 1 account and playing neopets on another account simultaneously for a few days. Have yet to be iced.

Guess I'll try to push the limits further by using autoplayer and browsing at the same time. For experiment sake. And maybe AB on 2 accounts simultaneously.

The accounts don't mean much to me since neopoints are so easy to earn.

I do have a theory though, that neopets is lenient to players who help them make ad revenue. e.g. you play games like adver-video, wheel of slime or maybe premium subscribers. They wouldn't want to ice a player who contributes to their ad revenue everyday.

A few days isn't a lot of time of "simultaneous" usage. Your accounts so interlinked like that are likely drawing a lot of attention and you're only making the ice more of a definite thing.

Nothing to experiment, this is likely to get you iced. Using an autoplayer and the same account browsing is going to log one of them out since Neopets doesn't allow you to be logged in more than once, however... it's suspicious as hell to be balls deep playing Pyramids or Restocking in Main Shops and posting witty comments that clearly took more than the ~0.2 that you just bought something.

Fact is that is reckless behavior, bad advice for anyone to read.

The accounts don't mean much to me since neopoints are so easy to earn.

Perhaps what you should do is transfer them to a different account and self freeze. This may help reduce the negative affects your previously reckless actions have put into motion.

This is completely, totally, and irrefutably false. Don't even spread useless rumors like this around, I've had two premium accounts get iced that never cheated not even once. So I HIGHLY doubt that doing simple shit like playing Adver-Video, the Wheel of Slime, and buying NC/Premium is going to change absolutely anything.

As I said, its a theory. Now I know otherwise. If I do transfer them to another account, wouldn't that raise more suspicion instead?

I did make sure to add self freeze after transferring, TNT is less likely to investigate an account that is already frozen.

I strongly recommend reading the Account Recovery Ticket Guide before doing that.
