I think I discarded 1k-2k through these years, and I got it after discarding 500ish items at 5 pm NST

JUST GOT THIS AVATAR!!! i off loaded 3.5k of things, then took a few weeks break, then got it on my second discard today! super excited! Wish i could tell you what i did to get it, just keep dumping junk!

Pretty sure I discarded about 5k items to get this avie. I only took out 800-1000 items at a time, just to speed things up on my computer loading time.

I dropped around 2700 items and still no avatar....getting tired of finding 1 np items

@Psyduck I'd suggest using Sweeney's Firefox extension thing if you aren't already. I did it manually myself for what seemed like forever, and I only ran his script for 3-4 days before I got it. It still took a while, but it's a lot better with minimal effort.

I must have been lucky. I only remember having to throw away 500-600 items in order to get it. Considering how people think TNT made this avatar to clear up their databases for the items, I wonder if it has something to do with how much crap you have in your SDB. I don't have very many items in my sdb, so I'm wondering if that's why it didn't take me long...

Aww, seems quite unfortunate for some here, I only discarded maybe 1400 items and got it? I see some have done 5k+ and still nothing. Lame sauce.

But its just one of those things I guess, I'm still missing the "lost" deserted tomb one. -_- SO irritating.

It took me a week of buying 1NP items and then discarding about 6,000 of them all at once, finally got the avatar that same day.

 

I think it comes down to that random amount you discard in between 3,000-7,000 items. I don't think it matters what the items are worth, what time you throw them away and whether you discard all at once or one by one over the years. You'll get it eventually as long as you discard a certain amount.

Wow. I was complaining to myself that I've discarded HUNDREDS of items. probably dozens. And wasn't getting it. I guess I have a long way to go. Thanks for the info everyone, though I probably won't be getting this one any time soon

Nope.... i didn't get the luck yet..... i also trying lever of the doom avatar now but i fail too..... i almost wanted to give up. LOL!
