You may have already seen this, but I stumbled upon this beautiful picture, and (sadly) the first thing I thought is, "That looks exactly like the Lavender Trellis Background!"



It's actually called the Wisteria Tunnel, (it's not even lavender) and it is at the Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu, Japan. Here's its Neopets counterpart:



It's kind of sad, though, because lavender isn't even a trailing flower (it grows in little bushes) so I don't know why they would name this a lavender trellis.

Anyway, do you know of any other Neopets backgrounds/items that have real world inspirations like this? I don't mean like, pencils and ice cream. That's obvious. It would be neat to see some more awesome examples
