1. Search the shop wizard to see if there are other shops listing it. Find the lowest price. Put it in your own shop for cheaper than the lowest price.
2. If there are none on the shop wizard, look on the trading post. Find the price either via other listings on the trading post, our item database or jellyneo's item database. Put item up on the trading post and wait for bids. Alternately, put it up in the auctions.

Sometimes if you need the money quickly, put it up for auction at 90% of the shop price.

Not everyone can recognise the discounted auction price.
Just put it in your shop for 80k if you're that hard up, and it should sell within a day.

Like others have said, if you are desperate put it up for 80-90% of the price, should sell rather fast

Or go on the boards and get a quick sale, although they are gonna offer a lot less money.
