So lately some people on Codex have been talking about Avatar and Legend of Korra.

I thought, why not just make a thread?

Clicked the link thinking it was about Avatars on neopets, haha.

I watched the whole ATLAB series during my Freshman year of college. Amazingly well done series. Haven't watched any of LoK yet because I was waiting till the whole season had come out because I hate waiting for new episodes.

Shymalan ruined the real Avatar film. I was pissed about how bad it was.

Didn't bother watching the movie because the trailer looked crappy.

At least Nickelodeon didn't give the series to some other producers.

I tried to watch the Avatar movie, but after 20 minutes and it being exactly word-for-word the exact same as the cartoon I determined it would be a waste of my time.

I agree. Korra was pretty well made but I tend to stick to what was first shown. Maybe I just miss the old Avatar Team. :'(

Avatar was great, Korra just isn't on the same level.

I'd say it's on an even higher level. It's the only nick show that I know that actually showed a murder-suicide in one of the episodes.
