So I was trying to restock manually at magic today.

I was wondering, will the MPs that stock be randomly placed or will it be at the end? (View picture for reference)

Spoiler

And also, if you could give me some restocking tips, that would be great. :)

They'll be placed throughout the shop randomly, not all at the end.

And I suggest restocking in two or three other shops at the same time. When I restock manually, I switch between stamps, magic, and shells (sometimes spooky foods or backgrounds, too)

Lastly, stay away from the following morphing potions:

    Green uni mps
    Basic ogrin mps
    Basic kyrii mps
    Orange koi mps
    Brown moehog mps
    Orange kougra mps
    and split lenny mps

    Those are not profitable.

    Good luck restocking ^^

Omg. Thanks for the advice! :)

Do you use any refresh scripts or like set your browser differently or something?

I don't use any scripts or anything sketchy like that.

I just have half of the screen with three or four tabs with all of the shops I'm in, with the other half of the screen watching youtube/browsing reddit/talking in my guild/talking on rs&chat boards.

The latter two are especially important. If you make yourself known, you look more legit ^^

Oh, and check out these petpages

    Very helpful :)

There are auto haggle scripts for greasemonkey. The one that I tend to use is called Neopets Auto Haggle. I very rarely get a mishaggle where it declines the haggle. This is usually on small items when clearing shops though, and very negligible.

While using an auto haggle script it will still look human like just because your speeds will be comparable to how fast your internet is, and the speed it takes to type in 14141 is just as fast if not faster than it takes for a page to load, unless you are using a super fast line that is 100mbps or something.

Also you can bypass the clicking okay on the pop up (java script pop up) by just using a middle click (firefox) which opens up a new tab to that desired url. It basically increases your chances tenfold of actually getting the item. The auto haggles will wait till the page is completely loaded, including the pet you have to click. So if you get a lag spike, you'll not get the item most likely. Also with doing this, you still have a hard chance at getting a MP at Shop 2 because of so many freaking bots and manual restockers.

Also to increase your speeds, with out using middle click, you just click the item and hit enter asap. The javascript will almost always accpet it since your computer's speeds in sending something only bytes or kilobytes is so much faster than the human reaction.

Refresh speed, when manually refreshing I will stay at a single shop and refresh generally 1-3 seconds. Usually it's when the whole page finishes loading, is when I hit refresh.

Other tips, use Adblock Plus (firefox extension) to remove undesired item images. This will allow you to only see items that you would like to get. The initial effect of this will make you maybe jump when you actually see a restock because you are only seeing good items. Just learn to get used to it and you can get really fast speeds which are very comparable to bot speeds.

Xbox controller, I will use one of these while hooke dup to my computer, with a Xbox Receiver. Along with a key binder that will map out the controller and allow me to do certain actions with each button. Such as...
    A- F5
    B- Tab Right
    Y- Tab Left
X- Space (to automatically move to bottom of page)
Right Bumper- Click->Click->Shift+Tab->Enter->Enter (To buy items that are hidden while highlighting the text below the hidden image)
Left Bumper- Right Click->Up->Enter->Up->Enter (to hide an image with Adblock Plus)

I should make a guide on this, huh?

Megazord, how long have you been using that method? Have you ever been frozen for it?

I used to restock manually using an autohaggler, no script and adblock. I did this only in the magic shop and got quite a lot of MPs including draiks. I got frozen after about a month I think but I don't know if that was because I was in there almost everyday using 2 accounts.

McAwesome, when restocking manually do you ever get to the haggle page, click the neopet in the picture and then it lags for about 4-5 seconds only to show the sold out page?

Just at the pet page or when you actually click the neopet?

For me, it was only when I clicked the neopet. So I'd be waiting there for 4-5 seconds and it'll be sold out. This happened a lot and I believe it made me miss a lot of morphing potions.

Been restocking this way for years. Same account, never Frozen. Also I AB on it now too. Still not frozen, even after some pretty big ticket items.

That lag is called petlag, and everyone gets it from time to time.

I must say though, I don't restock at 2 very often at all. I tend to like Stamp a lot more.

Petlag, didn't know there was a name for it. I think I figured out a way to SOMETIMES get past it. I got a draik morphing potion this way.

When you click the neopet and it's loading you need to quickly stop the browser and click the neopet again. I tried it but couldn't do it quick enough using my mouse.
So I found a firefox add on which customises shortcuts, found here.

When I restock I always have my ring finger on the f5 key, so I changed the f4 key to make my browser stop.

This way, whenever I get the petlag, if it didn't load within a second I quickly press f4 and click the neopet again. Sometimes it would petlag again, sometimes I got the item.

You can try it out if you want.

I don't get petlag nearly enough to really care much about it. Although I have noticed I get it more often while at Magic Shop than any other shop by far.

Yeah same, might be something to do with everyone trying to get that one item. It always used to bug me because I missed a load of good mps.

It lags when I load the pet page. Not when I click the pet. It is fine after I click the pet and usually I get the item by then.

I only AB when I'm out, like now or when I'm too lazy.

I do stamps quite often too.

I also get MPs while ABing at magic. (I'm afraid to do it on my main though)

How long have you been ABing in magic without getting frozen? Help me out with refresh times mate, what's a decent time?
Might try ABing in magic too.

Well, not very long. Maybe 2 weeks or so?

    Times are 0.5 - 1.5 for refresh.

0.1-0.2 for OCR and Pre-haggles and all the rest.

Shell + proxy to be safe. ;)

Also, I got the auto haggle script working.

Also disabled Javascript on Neopets.com specifically, and enabled AdBlock Plus. ;)

EDIT: I noticed that the haggle script would not work when Javascript is disabled. :(

I don't have proxies lol well the paid ones. I've never used free proxies for ABing. My internet changes IP on reset so I just did that. Also, I'm using a different computer to the one I mainly AB on and it's a different operating system and shit too so should be okay.

Are you using greasemonkey? Because that works with Java off.

Oh. Be careful though, it is safer with proxies imo.

No, I'm on Chrome using something called Tampermonkey.

I should probaby switch to FF right?

Can't greasemonkey scripts be automatically installed into Chrome without any extensions?

Probably, I just haven't taken time to learn about paid proxies and all that. Maybe someday lol

I've heard of add ons that do the same time for Chrome but to be honest yeah, I'd just go with Firefox.

I'm not too sure about that.
Anyways, tried installing the same script on FF but everytime I click the "Install" button, nothing pops up.

I can install other scripts, however.
