Yeah I thought so too, my sister will likely get one as well.
It does make sense to heat only enough water that you will actually consume and that the rest is wasted. Plus it looks super fancy

is XL really XL? I wanted to get the pikachu version before but I thought It might be too big I ended with just a regular 3DS

Its a little bit bigger, but its not over the top or anything.
The article that picture comes from actually says the bigger one is a little worse, so you made a good choice!
"The main difference between each console is the size of its screens. While the New 3DS has a 3.88in autostereoscopic 3D display and a 3.33in touchscreen, the New 3DS XL's 3D screen is a whole inch bigger, measuring 4.88in while its touchscreen comes in at 4.18in. To put that top display in perspective, that's practically the same size as your average smartphone.
However, each pair of displays have exactly the same resolution, as both 3D displays have a resolution of 800x240 and both touchscreens have a resolution of 320x240. This means that games don't look quite as sharp on the New 3DS XL, as its larger screens give each display a lower pixel density than its little brother. To compare the hard numbers, the New 3DS XL's top screen has a pixel density of 171 pixels-per-inch whereas the New 3DS's top screen has a pixel density of 215 pixels-per-inch."

I was at Costco a few days ago and bought a new Shark vacuum. Was considering a Dyson but didn't feel like paying more than double for something that probably works the same. Turns out I was right...the Shark is incredible. No regrets here.
Also bought my dog a new bed as her old one was getting pretty flat and had drool stains all over it. This one has memory foam and some sort of gel. It's taking a little bit of coaxing to get her to use it, but she's starting to.
Of course since I was at Costco, I stocked up on 30 cans of tuna, a case of soup, 3kg of organic frozen peas, large bags of meatballs and chicken strips, 2 lbs of strawberries, a pound and a half of grape tomatoes, 70 waffles, a massive box of my dad's favourite cookies, 3 tins of instant coffee, 5 lbs of extra lean ground beef to freeze, oatmeal, shampoo, TP, etc. I'm officially stocked up for months.

I envy people with access to Costco, but then again...where would I find all that freezer space. Probably buy freezers at Costco.
Anyway, I was definitely considering a Dyson, I'm just waiting for my old vacuum to die. Never heard of Shark before though, if it's that good, I'll probably see if I can find one instead of the Dyson (which correct me if I'm wrong has a lifetime warranty)

There's a Costco right by my work but I never actually buy enough from Costco to make the yearly membership worth it.
As for vacuums we have a central vac in our house so a Dyson isn't really needed.
My most recent purchase thanks to Bespoke Post, wondering if these monthly boxes are worth it now that the CAD is so much weaker than the USD
