And I was worried I had been frozen when I couldn't log into my ab'er x)

They should but it might have been unplanned.
Something like that happened to me once. I was ABing and I got that logged out error and then I tried to log in in on my browser and the site wasn't loading. I thought I got IP banned or something.

I am now able to load the front page without any trouble.
Can't load any other pages though.

I think you should write a guide that will help people discern whether Neopets is down or not.
