Stamps is a prime target for both legit players and ABers, so competition is fierce. That said, I used to AB in stamps as a nonadvanced member and did occasionally get some good stamps.

It is still magic, people just like stamps too. I personally prefer stamps because of the big ticket items that simply don't exist in magic.

I always end up missing draik MPs in magic. Just the other day, I missed a Grey Draik Morphing Potion. FUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Anyways, I think it depends on the time of day you AB. I AB around 3 - 4 am NST because there is a low player volume then (6 - 7k)

How do you know the number of players online at a shop?

    You don't.

You can only estimate by the number of players online, which is shown on the index page of Neopets.

I've ABed at stamp today for 6 hours. Only got 3 stamps. Profit was around 50k, 80k, 99k. Pretty low profit...I don't think I am going to AB there for awhile.

I've made about 2.5m in stamps in the past week or so and I'm a nonmember, so no complaints here :)

But the fail rate at stamps is a lot more than say... backgrounds or spooky foods. If only those weren't filled with junk half the time :S

Just abed a 94k stamp...i guess the time of day is the most important factor...i usually abed when 17k people were online...now with about 9k i actually have a chance
