It's more that we don't do anything illegal so they can't do anything about it.

Is that why you guys say it is forbidden to sell neopets stuff for real money but not gifted money?

Well it is illegal for people to sell things like neopoints or Neopets items because they remain the intellectual property of Neopets/MTV Networks.

Oh true. I thought the reason was because the gift option is a tougher approach for people who disputes a payment.

They know about the site and that's why we can't post links to accounts. They check the site but because we don't actually do anything illegal they can't take the site down. Autobuyers are just cheats but they aren't illegal.

That's more because there's some Neopets players who are report happy and will sometimes try to work out the Neopets accounts of people on forums like ours to try to get them frozen.

Oh I meant done something to circumvent the cheats and make them not work. I mean they have access to all the programs since it's free so they should be able to download it, look at the code and cht and then devise a way to stop them (or at least some of them) right?
On another note: I found out someone on this site has the same username (for this site) as my neopets username.

Thats because, as soon as they did, the programmers will be able come up with a work around for the change

They added the captcha on the main shop restocking to try to combat that but it was beaten by the programmers within a few minutes.

It doesn't really make sense for them to waste time trying to patch it so I think they probably just let it go now. I still think it would be nice if they would upgrade the captcha they use in the shops though, they're just getting lazy.

TNT logic : Instead of wasting money hiring more programmers to remove opportunities for cheating; since that's pretty much impossible, or hiring more content developers or whoever to update the site, why don't we just hire more moderators, and freeze more people at random, whenever we feel like it? Brilliant, that will solve ALL our issues!

I think since the NC thing was created, TNT doesn't really give a fuck about cheating, they only freeze people when they cheat blatantly or, when premium or a nc buyer they think like "Okay, they cheat, but still give us some profit, so let it be!".
