Then they refused to unfreeze.
Maybe vengeance, may just be for the hell of it.
The account was purged and I lost ~87million nps, and my battledome trained pets.
Within a week of using, this ABer is amazing and it's slowly earning me back to my 87 million.
Oh, and sometimes cheating can be really fun.
Wait.. that's it, i'm in it for the fun.

Cheat Engine for score sending and getting those shiny trophies/avatars... as if I have time to get them through legit means.
Wouldn't SSing be by far easier than using CE? You just hit a button and go afk for 20 minutes.

It's easier but the risk of getting caught is way higher.Wouldn't SSing be by far easier than using CE? You just hit a button and go afk for 20 minutes.
Risk of using AoB is really really low unless you start getting unbelievable scores.

Say you are a teenager allowed to play for three hours a day by your permissive parents. You want a Maraquan Draik, a plushie pet, a Darigan pet, a Faerie pet, and a Baby pet.
Draik egg: 4 million
Maraquan: 11 million
Darigan: 1.5 million
Plushie: 8.5 million
Faerie: 1.3 million
Baby: 600k
Total: 26.9 million.
Then I tried to build a profile which I figured was about right for the average Neopets player, someone who likes the site but isn't utterly obsessed.
You play most days: Let's say 350 days a year. Your connection is too slow for you to have a chance at restocking. While you are not horrible at Flash games, you're not an expert either. You're also making friends, chatting, avatar-searching, playing with your pets, that sort of thing; you're not utterly focused on earning NP. And of course you have a life--school, work, real life friends, responsibilities of various sorts. Some days you only check into the game for dailies; sometimes you spend hours on a weekend. On average, you earn 20,000 NP per day just playing games, dailies, etc. You're very determined, so you save 15k of it every day for your dream pets.
So how long do you take to get your dream pets? By my math, if you start out when you are 13 years old, you will be 18 by the time you have those pets. That's more than five years.
Conclusion? You can't set expensive goals on Neopets unless you are either severely obsessed, have a very fast connection, or are cheating. And the goal I set was relatively modest--if you're training for the Battledome, you will have a much higher NP total if you want the best equipment.
Considering the extremely high freeze rates for next to nothing, you are very unlikely to ever reach any of those goals.
When I first figured that out, I just quit Neopets. Now, I don't think of it as a long-term project anymore, because I know that's useless. I just play however I like, and when I get tired of it, I gather up all the stuff I've collected and NP I've earned and find some random people to give it away to. If I have a painted pet I transfer it to someone equally random, usually somebody from the Pound chat. Then a while later, when I have a hankering to play Pyramids or something, I come back and start again.
I just know better now than to think of Neopets as a game where you can set reasonable goals and accomplish them while being assured that unless you're a real jerk or a scammer you won't be frozen. More likely, you'll slowly and painfully grow to hate the flash games because you can only play the ones that are most profitable if you want to get anywhere, and then when you're nowhere near your goal, your account gets frozen for little or no reason.

And also what MysteryMunch said. It would take years to get the pets you want.

I used to use it regularly but I thought I was going to stop once I sold my old account, now I just want to make enough nps to gift something special to a friend of mine
Then I'll probably stop again... at least for a bit ^^

I AB really occasionally. I do the opposite of Scot's method, really - I do high-profit, really low volume.
This way I can AB on my main without looking ~too~ suspicious. It also leaves me lots of time to do lots and lots of legit stuff, like guilds, graphic-making, avatar collecting, lending, etc. And then sometimes if I'm feeling cocky I'll use Score Sender for game avatars and the occasional trophy on reset day.
