Was anybody here a major Gallery chat person?

All the boards are dying. The smaller ones just go first.
You are right. I remember the guild boards use to be booming. Not anymore. Only boards which are still active is Role Play, Avatars and Trading. Neopets is dieing its self.

The only ones that are still going strong are the Charter, Avatars/Neosignatures, Pound, and Trading/Auctions.
All of the other boards have clearly declined at an excelled rate, even Battledome.

The Avatar Chat is dead too. It's all begging threads now.
I don't leave the Charter. Everything outside of there seems like begging these days.

You guys should see the premium boards. I have no clue why they added a trading board to them. Quiet as hell. Who would want to advertise on it.
Yeah like Sweeney said I was talking about a premium board. The only active Premium board, the Charter.

The overall decline in board activity is a little alarming, actually. Who knows how it'll be a few years from now? I wonder what could be done to pump it back up again.

Yeah the guild boards are totally dead. I was remembering the GC's heyday and got kinda sad lol. It was so much fun a few years ago, the people were so creative. If it wasn't for the GC I'd never have learned graphics.

A plot would probably revitalize a few boards (avatar chat, battledome chat, help chat), but TNT probably won't take the time to make a good intricate plot. They've got their hands full making new NC items, after all. Other than that, I don't know what they could do to increase the amount of active users, other than a large advertising campaign.

They need a gritty reboot. Preferably with Don LaFontaine (R.I.P.) providing the voice over.

Don't forget about the PC and the NC mall chat.
I remember when the FC was really interesting to go to. lol.
I forgot about the FC!!! I used to go there and to the Help Chat to read random off topic stuff. Some of the things that went down were so disturbing haha. I wonder if the boards will ever be where they were. It seems like the crowd on Neo now has gotten so much younger overall.

The NC board is a fairly active board. Maybe if TNT focused on other areas, not just releasing NC items, the other boards would liven up as well. I rejoined premium as a trial earlier this year and couldn't believe how quiet the boards had gotten, it used to be a massive pulling point for me but other than Charter they were pretty much all dead.

Elsa's right - it does seem like the average user has gotten much younger. I wonder why?
