I am Cody And yes, i do know that i kinda came in; joined staff quickly and climbed the ladder very fast.
I found codex because i was programing my own personal Auto-Doer and was getting lazzy. I had algorithms for several programs but one i was missing was scarab 21. I joined the site with the intention of infiltrating the programing team and stealing the source After i had become a programmer and had access to the source, i realized that in the short time that i had already spent here i had made some pretty kick ass friends and would rather stay around here and help others out than go back to being a lone-programmer.
I became an administrator because i wanted to take some of the load off of ShadowLink64, Hydrogen and Noitidart. They were already talking about stepping down because of their IRL commitments... School, Work and other personal business meant that they could not spend the time on codex that was needed. Emails would go unanswered and PMs would start to stack up. It became demotivating to sign in and have to deal with so many problems so i told them i was interested in helping out.
I am not too sure what you mean by "more active", i am online EVERY DAY; i just might not post every day. You can always get ahold of me in IRC. Things have slowed down a little more than usual due to some recent events IRL but im hoping to move out of my current place and into town within the next month

Would you ever consider teaching people some of your knowledge on programming? I have seen quite a few members who have an interest in getting to know more about what it entails but wouldn't know where to start, I know it would be more time consuming but maybe you could set up a mentoring group and give them little projects? Might help with delegation of your work load in the long term also and help train up future codex programmers

I couldn't bring myself to do it; I'm attached to my hair QQ, it sounds stupid i know... But cutting my hair is a decision that i could not go back on and thus have a hard time bringing myself to do it.

I am interested in teaching people to program, my only issue is patience and prior knowledge. I am a horiable teacher and cannot explain things very well unless i am talking to someone that is on the same level as me. I find it hard to elaborate on points that come to me without really having to think xD
