The training and guidance didn't include PMing people when I warned them, so no . That is, unless the rule being violated includes PMing the member as a means of addressing it with them, in which case I do.

The protocol says remove the post and issue a warn. You get a personal warn, which sends a notification to you with what we warned you about. There is a warn thread posted for everyone to see, which you can also see, that tells what rule you have violated. How would it be common sense to send you another form of communication when you have already been informed two different ways (one direct, one indirect)?
