Well this brings back memories of the last time I tried... xD

---

I feel great about myself, iv'e kept up my daily sit ups and other exercises and have taken time to let my body rejuvenate. Instead of struggling on a few now, i can easily do groups of 20-30 of each at a time more than 3 times a day. I still get pain but It is less intense and still feels great.

I've been doing my sit ups on my declined bench. Push ups on the ground normally. Other on the spot
cardio like star jumps and knee taps.

I do reverse crunches and can manage 40 in a row easily. I try to do some leg exercises like squats and scissor stretches.

I use a 5 kilo dumbbell for some arm exercises and usually do about 100 of each a day.

If I feel like I can do more I try to push myself and sometimes try to push through some pain.

I have already noticed a bit of change in my body shape after 2 weeks and can't wait for the next 2. Hoping to get up for morning walks or jogs eventually when not having to be in Dalby.

My base body weight is now 108 kg, 2 weeks ago it was 115 kg. 5 years ago it was 159 kg. 2 years ago it was 71 kg. 1 year ago it was 91 kg.

I will beat this and I will keep going. I will lose enough weight to get below 90 kg by Christmas and I will be happy.

From then I plan to keep it at that weight below 90 kg and focus a bit more on my speed, core strength and endurance. If I can manage below 80 kg from then I will push for a weight above 65 kg.

During this I hope to manage 70-80 kg by next Christmas and aim to keep it that way.

Iv'e still been searching for work, for courses and different possibilities and have not had much luck with actually attaining work. So I hope to lose weight to add to my chances because I know how judgemental people can be in general.

I'll be looking to start a Certificate 3 in Information, Technology and Digital Media sometime this year or early next year and aim to start my own Computing, Technology and Graphics business.

These are my goals.

No matter how long it takes I will get them and nothing you say to get me down will stop me.

I'm doing this for my wonderful girlfriend and hope I can make her as happy as possible.

Going to be doing another 20 sit ups before bed. Hoping to fit in 20 push ups, 20-30 reversed crunches and my arm exercises.

If anyone has any bicycles for sale let me know i'd be interested in 2, 1 for myself and 1 for my girlfriend.

Good luck, dude. By the way, now that it doesn't hurt intensely, you need to start doing more so it does!
Jogs will help you start shedding pounds fast.

Depends on the type of cereal. Most are pretty high in carbohydrates which are counter productive if you're not balancing your macros correctly.

Eating less (and eating the right kind of food) is much much much more effective than exercising! But do both! Just don't exercise and ignore diet. Good luck :)

    http://www.fitday.com/

This might help as a guideline for diet. If you just eat like usual for a day and then enter all of your food and diet then it will tell you which nutrients you have an excess of and which you are lacking, it's pretty cool!

    Objectively incorrect.
While eating less and correctly will put you at a caloric deficit naturally, you will burn much fewer calories than if you exercised.
Exercising AND eating correctly but at a deficit is the optimal way to lose weight.

I have been eating less than my normal amount too. I haven't and wont stop eating my usual stuff. I have 1-2 pieces of toast with vegemite on them within minutes of waking up and and have something like an egg white on a piece of toast for lunch along with the usual dinner meal. Which often ranges from spaghetti to sausages and stuff, iv'e been eating a lot less but still have the energy i need :D

Sounds like you have a pretty clean diet in the first place :)

WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS BUILDING MUSCLE. to lose weight you have to do cardio. you need to run. why build muscle when its going to be under all that flabby fat tubby?

I did one week of switching between cardio and running and lost 5 pounds. I ran ~ 3 - 4 miles one day, and then did a mixture of sit-ups, push-ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, etc. I typically use a 52 card deck and assign 8 different work outs to each suite, 2 per suite (alternating), and then move through the deck using the card number (multplied by 3 - 4 depending on the workout) to determine what I do. It's actually a really good method because it varies the workout and prevents plateauing. Not to mention I usually end up doing 300 - 400 (and yes, 400 push-ups hurt lol) of each workout.

Funny thing is I'm supplementing with Weigh so I don't lose TOO much weight :p

Yew. There's your first problem. You should be first and foremostly (is that a word?!) doing this for yourself amigo.

I didn't even catch that the first time around. Building a relationship around physical satisfaction is a terrible idea.

exercising is the best way for weight lossing

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to disagree with you here, Diet is the most important thing about losing weight. It is way easier to eat 500 Calories less than it is to burn 500 Calories through exercise. 500 Calories is roughly 1/8th of a regular bag of potato chips or 3.5 cans of coke or 2 slices of cake. In contrast, to burn 500 Calories OP would have to run for 2.65 miles at a pace of 7.5 miles/hour or 8 mins/mile, that's about 21.2 minutes of running, maybe I'm not giving the OP enough credit but that seems quite difficult to accomplish and quite hard on the knees, especially if they are 20 - 30 kg over their desired weight.

The problem with most aerobic activity is that when you stop exercising you stop burning extra Calories, on the Contrary if you were to do HIIT (high intensity interval training -> short bouts of intense anaerobic activity) you may not burn as many Calories during the exercise itself, but over a 24 hour period you may come out ahead in the latter due to something called EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) which is an elevated metabolic rate due to the energy debt created during the interval training.

Now I'm not saying that the exercise that OP is doing is having negligible effects, because the reality is every extra bit of activity does add up, but never underestimate the power of a good diet.

I'm sorry this is so long. Congrats on the current weight loss and don't be discouraged if the scale doesn't reflect the hard work that you've put in. There are many different factors that influence weight.

    Keep up the good work

o.o So many people assuming things D:

Iv'e been with my partner 4 years already so It is not built around body image

secondly I have an extremely slow metabolism, I take a few vitamins and things to help me out and i'm sure more muscle mass helps increase metabolism. I already have a fair bit of muscle anyway.

I also said that I have been jogging and running too. I walk a lot as well.

Hopefully when the local temperatures start to level out it will be easier to go for early morning and night time walks and runs too.

That tends to happen when you deliver a baby. Taking into consideration that the baby weighs around that full term, and then the amniotic fluid and placenta.

    Anyway.

I have lost a lot of weight since I started working out exclusively, and cut out fast food.
Working out is a part of my routine now, so I quite enjoy it.

Edit: I'll post my full workout later on if you want :3
