As for my disappointment, I was referring to the fact that people started making baseless accusations about others voting for their friends signatures etc. Where is your proof of this? If you can provide some, I will gladly remove any awards given, but to make accusations without being able to back up your 'theory' is ridiculous. People vote for a signature that can make them laugh, they genuinely like the effort that has gone into them, made them go 'WTF?' or simply because they don't care who wins and pick one at random.

Don't try to disrupt the competition simply because you may be 'jealous' or because you got less votes than said signatures did.

Yes, I'm annoyed, good job. /rant

I did not accuse anyone directly, like Bone or anyone else, it just occurred to me that someone or even everyone could be cheating. Because of me saying that after Strategist made it clear that the signs were really that way made you think that I was accusing the ones who made the blank and the black one or whichever. I just realized that making the contest the way it's made doesn't make it fair. I'm not the owner of the Truth, but I can say people love to cheat, it doesn't matter on who or what, even if there are exceptions.
Well, it doesn't mean I will stop participating, anyway (as if you cared lol).

I think it was pretty clear exactly what you were saying, which was that you didn't think there was any reason anyone would vote for those signatures unless they knew the person who made them.

If you have any suggestions on how the contest could be better run to make it more fair, I am sure Strategist would love to hear them.

I thought I made it clear when I said that people cheat. What I meant is that making the contest the way it is made, secretly sending your entries, won't stop people if they have friends here and really want to win.

It just somewhat made it more clear to me, but it isn't like I didn't think about it before.
And it must be hard to someone to get caught, because they would just ask it to the people they... "Trust", have some friendship with.
I don't have any suggestions. At first, I liked the idea of the contest... Before I realized that. If I think of something, I'll be glad to tell you and even tell people from the other forum I participate to use it.

What do you mean? You have access to other people's messages?

I didn't say that, I meant we can check things like log files etc to look into things that can help with any suspicious activity there may be.
