Ping Pong Christmas
Random, hill-billy related video found when I searched for "ping pong christmas"
Rather creepy way to give a holiday greeting if you ask me. o.0

And people see my name and assume it's African. My name isn't from Africa, its from Compton, there's a difference.
You assume assumptions.
About the only thing I do because it's the holiday season is that I drink much more mulled wine and eat more black pudding because it's more available than during the rest of the year.

And the Christmas decorations won't ever be taken down once their put up.
You obviously don't live in the southern United States. Christmas decorations up year-round is a normal thing here.

For example my sister in law lost it on me last year because apparently it was me trying to drive the religious aspect of Christmas down her throat. Meanwhile I'm Atheist. lolololwut.
I just saw this on facebook and thought I'd share

I am not religious but I say Merry Christmas. I find I've been given more shit in recent years for saying Merry Christmas than those who say Happy Holidays.

I say "Have a great holiday" most of the time, and happy holidays. I'm hindi so I don't celebrate christmas that rigorously (we still get a tree and presents for the heck of it, it's fun!), it's always nice to spread out some cheer however.

Agree. I had to start singing carols in choir last year as soon as November started. 2 whole months of nothing but singing carols. Makes you never want to hear another christmas carol in your life ever again. It becomes just that annoying. Then there's the people who put up decorations way to early and don't take them down until it's into February. Pretty soon Halloween and Thanksgiving won't even be holidays anymore. We'll have kids dressing up as elves and Santa on Halloween. And the Christmas decorations won't ever be taken down once their put up.
Agreed on the decorations thing. I swear I saw christmas lights right after halloween ended. It's like november isn't even a thing anymore, they just go straight from halloween to christmas.
You assume assumptions.
How is it an assumption when I have people asking me where I'm from, and if I'm from Africa on a regular basis?

Agreed except for the part about Kwanzaa cuz lets be real, Kwanzaa is just a made up holiday that no one really celebrates.

I'm guessing it's because you're of the negro persuasion and not because the name Mishelle sounds African.

Mishelle is my middle name. My first name is Kinaya. I go by my middle name because people always pronounce my first name incorrectly.
