Anyone know why plumpy is so overpriced? Does someone somewhere know of a secret avatar they're planning on releasing? Or is it just the cuteness of a fat cat that is resulting in the 15k price point? Typically advent calendar/special event petpets that everyone gets go for around 5k when they're first released...

I would say its due to the fact its looks like a 'cute' fat version of an angelpuss. I'm also guessing that people think maybe there could be a new avatar for equipping it and then waiting a certain amount of days for it to age like the angelpuss.

You can blame the internet for the overpriced Plumpy. Still wish they kept quiet about how awesome bacon is.
Bacon is more expensive now... I can't even afford bacon everyday for breakfast anymore. On a positive note my cholesterol is down.

People are hoarding them. One person posts a theory and suddenly it's a buying frenzy. Worked nicely for me, got to sell mine for pretty high! Now if that bloody Stocking Stufftacular Stocking would get filled! I wasted the money on ONE stocking... and the universe is repaying me for my own retardation by not having filled it. I don't want to deal with TNT though, gah.

Think the only thing worth hoarding here is the christmas petpet pb. Might take awhile, but should go back up over 2-3 years. One time use and people like xmas petpets.

I finally got that winter theme. this was the only time i've been able to go to the calendar every day.

The same for me. I've been playing for over 7 years and this was the first year ever I could get the Winter Theme.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the Snowbunny was an advent petpet and that's worth quite a bit. Although, that's also an avatar petpet. But yeah as others have said Plumpy is false inflation.

As far as this years advent, there were quite a few books which I liked. My favorite item was probably the cape from the first day. Other than that, the rest can sit in my SDB. And yes, after last year of getting no sidebar and visiting every day, I got it this year!
