Super Power: Teleportation
Good: I can go to the grocery store in just seconds...or help severely injured people go the hospital in 2 seconds.
Bad: Teleport inside a bank vault...teleport into my professor's house and look at answer sheets....

Flight or Aerokinesis


I never understood the appeal of simply being able to fly until I tried City of Heroes. Being able to lift off and soar into the sky is an amazing feeling (even when it's experienced through a virtual avatar). I'll be content with just the power of flight itself and nothing else.

I think I'll just stick to flying around for brief periods of time at night. Of course, it would be fun to resort to flying if I'm ever late to some sort of appointment or meeting.

If it's Aerokinesis, then I'm not sure if I can help myself from doing a bit of mischief.

As for superpowers, I'd be that Silar dude off of Heroes. I'm gonna steal all your fucking powers by cutting open your head with my fucking finger MUAHAHAHAHA!

 

If there was a non-lethal version of that I'd pick it. Nothing beats the superpower of being able to have all superpowers!

My choice: Point of View Perception and... erm... think the Point of View gun from Hitchhiker's Guide only as an ability, but with the option of not just being able to let other people see your own point of view, but that of others too. Just how great would that be in peace negotiations etc?

 

The only downside I can see is that it might reveal more than intended.

Oooo, after seeing the above chart I might choose a more practical one. I used to want to become an interpreter so Omni-Lingualism would be a great help. Ofcourse there are much cooler superpowers out there but Omni-Lingualism might still be explained away plus it seems a more legit way of earning a living with your superpower. Unless somebody else can think of a better example?

I still think that the power of teleportation would far out weigh that of flight. You could teleport up into the sky and teleport across it faster than flight with any small amount of practice.
