I notice the program lowers at the bottom so just wondering can I be off surfing the net....playing a star wars game and it will still run as long as I have a neopet page up in a browser? Just curious.

Also for my settings I have...

General Wait Delay: 4.5- 9.0
Pre Haggle: 4.0 - 7.0
OCR Page: 6.0 - 9.0

Is this right to use. Safe? I also have cable connection.

Thanks for the help and any tips.

You don't even need to have the browser on a neopets page for the program to run, thats the beauty of it. Yes, you can go and do other things on the computer whilst the program runs.

IMO, those times are way too high, I would suggest lowering them (mainly the pre haggle/OCR times, as you will probably struggle to buy anything, even on a cable connection BUT make sure you read below)

It all depends on your connection and you have to do the trial and error yourself. Everyone's settings are completely different based on their own connections.

Start at a high refresh rate, pre haggle and OCR and see what sort of buy times you get from there (if you manage any buys at all). Then gradually lower the times on the pre haggle and OCR values until you manage to get to a buy time you're happy with. (Safe times are ~1400ms+, DON'T go below these times unless you don't care about your account enough to be frozen).

Hi, I have an ancient account ~12 years and I've just started running AB.  I experimented with various settings and currently have lowest pre-haggle and OCR time at 0.3sec each. Due to retarded internet speed, my buy time is still running at about 4000ms and above... I did manage to buy a few items and managed to buy one item at 15000 ms although the profit wasnt great.

I'm wondering if it's safe to lower my OCR or pre-haggle time any lower? Is the final buy time the only thing TNT could monitor? I don't want to lose my old account and would only be comfortable with moderate risk. I've tried searching through google and forum but I don't think anybody has internet as slow as mine to have 0.6sec pre-hag+ocr = 4000+ms buying time. Please do paste a link for me if I miss out a relevant post.

    Thanks.

Hi, try lowering all the way down to 0.01 for both OCR and Pre-Haggle. This may lower your buy times a little. Where abouts are you from?

I'm running it from Malaysia... teethering from my 3G mobile phone... download/upload speed at about 100kbps max...

Thanks for your flash speed reply, so can I read your answer as final buy time is the only thing that matters?

I think your internet speed might be the biggest factor in not getting as many items. I never got items before I upgraded my internet.

Yeah you'd be lucky to get many items if your down/up speed is that slow. The only way to increase your buy speeds is to get better internet in your case.

Just got myself a new wifi dongle today. I was so excited about it, I had to register one during lunch time. It's 5 - 10 times faster than my old internet.

Hopefully it will work better this time :-)

It's been an hour since I started running it, still no luck so far.
