I've been running an experiment to see how much nps I could make in a weeks time.

I went all out, ignoring any logical method and created a ridiculous cycle of daily restocking using Abrosia.

The point was to see how long it would take me to be frozen/chain iced.

I've made a little over 50m in 2 weeks, and my accounts are still alive.

Has anyone else been feeling a little too lucky?  I should definitely be frozen by now.  I've been rs-ing in stamp and magic as well, DURING THE DAY.

Two weeks is still too short, I think. TNT can really drag their asses on freezing, especially if you're not flagged by a bot. I say wait a month or two, then I'll call you lucky.

Yup, I sent some ridiculous scores that went under review on the score sender and have yet to be frozen. You're using new accounts right?

    No I'm using junk shells.

I also ignored all rules about how long you should keep it running.  I straight up have it run until rs banned.  I think the longest period was over 6 hours.

Maybe my buy times aren't fast enough to trigger an alert or something.

I choose the shop depending on how I feel on that day, but here's the list of shops I visit:

    2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 25, 37, 48, 58, 98

My avergage buy time is around 1250ms

    Fastest being 990ms

I also clear the hell out of shops.  This isn't 50m total revenue.  This is 50m profit.  Total np spent is around 12-15m.

I am NOT using a proxy and I doing this on more than one account.

And yea, I always let the account run till rs banned, but people say that running for extended periods of time = autoban.

I'm trying to figure out what the parameters are for getting frozen, and bust any myths in the process.

So far, the whole no ab-ing in Magic, Defence, BM, or Stamp is a load of crap IMO.

So because you've gotten away with it for two weeks, two whole weeks, you've decided you won't get frozen. So cute.

Elle, where do I say that?

    So stupid.

"The point was to see how long it would take me to be frozen/chain iced."

    Do you even read?

I'm showing my surprise for not being iced within 2 weeks after breaking all the "rules" people keep mentioning.

This is why I never posted on these forums.  I come to have a discussion, and people make dumb assumptions that leave me wondering why they even bother posting in the first place.

Did i not quote you own post for you? Are your eyes painted on?

I understand the point of your thread/ little experiment.

You've claimed that the 'guidelines' on not ab'ing 'Magic, Defence, BM, or Stamp is a load of crap IMO.'

I'm merely telling you not to count yourself out yet.

Spire, I haven't even kept a strict schedule so the numbers could definitely be higher.

I have 6 accounts that are constantly in rotation.  1 account is specifically for clearing shops and makes little to no profit.  The other is only targetting items that are 10k+.

Each session has 2 accounts running.  The clearing account stays in a 2 shops, 1 that is low-populated and 1 that the main account is in.  The main account is multiple shops I select based on how crowded/cleared it is.  I set the option to switch shops if it is full, and 30 minute intervals in shops.

Clearing: targets low - profit to high - profit in slow shops, ensuring you can make profit and clear for your main account.

Main: buys out expensive items.  i either let it run multiple shops or have it in a single shop that im clearing.

The point of clearing is try and increase the number of restocks per hour.  Hence, increasing the number of items you can get = more profit for the Main account.

Is your brain made of plastic? I'm saying the guidelines are a load of crap because it's not the Shop that factors into getting frozen as much as statistics and settings.

Not to mention, I said "so far" implying within the 2 week time frame the guidelines have shown to be completely circumstantial and there's no hard evidence to prove the relation between shops and getting iced.  I never counted myself out from being frozen, like I said in my previous post, the whole point was to get myself frozen through Ab-ing.

Obviously your settings are one of the main factors. Thanks for letting us know, we had no idea. My initial point is that based on your two whole weeks of experimenting and being safe, you're discounting the high risk of AB'ing in these shops. See how we're back to square one here?

How am I discounting the high risk?

    discount

b : to minimize the importance of

You're operating under the ASSUMPTION that shops have risk factors attached to them.  There is no proof that ABing in certain shops raises the likelyhood of you getting frozen.

By the general guidelines, if I were to let Abrosia sit in Magic for over 4 hours, while simultaneously, and without a proxy, have my laptop run Abrosia in Stamp, I should be frozen.

I'm saying shop selection and risk have no corelation and you are wasting your time worrying about what shop you're in.

Furthermore, the initial question was has anyone been frozen lately because I wanted to see if TNT has become more timid in cracking down on ABers or if it was because of something I've been doing.

If you've been AB-ing for a long time, you'd be able to tell if something should get you iced or not.  The sheer ridiculousness and scale of this should be apparent to TNT if they used information such as IP or shops to determine who will be frozen.

Again, I am NOT using any proxies.  I should be an extremely easy target for chain icing.

Which leads me to believe there are a set of parameters that must be met for you to be considered for ab-ing.

    The parameters would include:

    1. the time user rf'd page - gives starting point

    2. the time haggle page load - gives end point for time took to click and enter item haggle, start point for buy time.

    3. the time @ buy confirmation - end, shows buy time.

It just makes no sense to me that you would be more likely to be iced if you are restocking in Magic than you are in Books or something.  The shop you're in would say nothing about whether you're using an aber.  They would see that the given user was there, but so what?  That's secondary at best.

    ALSO, forgot to mention.

    Items bought ranges from 50-250.

    Here's some general stats:

    Averge buy time: 1250ms

    Starting np: 2.5m

    Average np left: 1.25m

    Current SDB Values

    Lowest shell: 4m

    Average shell: 7.5m

    Highest shell: 11m

r99s: 4 for sure, don't know how many of the MPs are r99.

I did a similar experiment in December with the same shops and lists, except with a faster setting.

Same thing except slightly slower in January.

Both these times I was iced within a week. Multiple times.  Meaning, I restarted the experiment the following week and would be successfully iced within a week.

Total accounts iced / chain iced = 10

    Total that survived = 2

I honestly believe buytime is the only thing that matters when you are up for freeze.

Also, Scot I'm not on crack.
