I've been playing neopets for over 10 years, and over that time I've accumulated A LOT of accounts. I have some weird thing about "fresh starts" >__<. Over all, I think I have about 10-15 accounts, on about 4 different emails. A few emails are very similar with one another and the passwords for most accounts is the same.

I never really used to stress about breaking the rules, because it was never my actual intention, it was more about lazyness to switch accounts, just playing on the ones I happened to find convenient at the time. Sometimes I would transport huge amounts of np and items to different accounts. Although now that I think of it, rarely more than 500k at a time or very rare items separately...

So I never really tried to gain any specific advantage, but would still do dailies on a few accounts a day sometimes, as well as play games etc.

To this date, only one account has been frozen because I used a autoscoresender thing very stupidly (I was unfamiliar with the settings). I've been ABing on two accounts since, made some millions...

Right now my neopoints are scattered on all my accounts. A few of my accounts share the same email with the frozen account one, yet they haven't been frozen for anything, nor received any warnings.

I sometimes use different browsers, but I'm rarely on two accounts at the same time. I also use up to 4 different email connections within a month, all randomly between the accounts (I use Ipad's internet, own computer, phone, parent's house)

How am I still alive? :D I've grown very paranoid now though, after reading so much about the ways to AVOID getting frozen and realizing that I'm doing everything possible wrong. And is there anything I can do to NOW "correct" those mistakes of mine.

You might as well keep doing what you're doing. If they want to freeze you, they will.

They can't view the actual password they are stored in hash form for security reasons. so if there similar it doesn't matter

It helps that you have the accounts on different emails.

Proxies actual are detectable if used incorrectly and so not using one can be safer.

The reason most people get frozen is through transferring items.  Then scoresending and abing.  It seems like you're main purpose on playing on the other accounts isn't to just make nps, so it would make the accounts seem legitimate.  IPs are shared by location so they can't just ban all your accounts based on shared IP.

Just don't be greedy and keep doing what you're doing.

You've said that breaking the rules was never your actual intention, implyng that for the most part you've been 'legit' on all of these accounts and only used whichever account you found convenient (I'm not sure how an account is convenient if you don't bother logging out).  If this is the case, I'm curious as to how much value your 10-15 accounts would have in total.  For the time you've been playing, your total net worth should be well over 100,000,000 NP.  If you're total value is still well below that after the 10 years of playing, you're not going to be much of an interest and I'm assuming each account doesnt really make a lot of NP, no reason to assume the accounts are cheating = no reason to freeze.

Haha, lol. I think it's more a matter of luck than skill to not get caught in this case. :-D

And Doomsday; Yeah my accounts are definitely not worth that much. Maybe 20mil at the moment if I sold some items. I've spent a lot and I'm not too greedy I guess. :p

I was mainly worrying if I should worry about any of my accounts being flagged or monitored or something...

TNT just thinks you're small fry compared to bigger fish of which they don't even bother freezing unless stupid.

    What slowpoke said.

You made it sound like you had 1b in neopoints.  Guess I should read more next time ><

Ah, no! Sorry that wasn't my intention. Anyway I'm glad that I seem to be in "the safe zone". I didn't realize it required so much to be chainfrozen, simply because everyone is complaining about it, it seemed so common! Although of course I could make a lot more neopoints if I stuck to ABing and such, but I usually only run it every once in a while, and I guess I'll keep at it because it's doing me no harm for now. :)

But if you request a password, you get your password in an email. On top of that, previous passwords are used to verify account ownership in tickets and such, so I think they have access to passwords.

Well for those that are complaining about getting chainfrozen, they are obviously cheating a lot more heavily then they say they are and being stupid about it.  Yours is a simple case of multi-accounting and doing dailies.  The people who get chainfrozen are generally multi-accounting, score sending obliviously, sending large amounts of NP to accounts, autobuying heavily / dangerously, etc etc etc.

But if you request a password, you get your password in an email. On top of that, previous passwords are used to verify account ownership in tickets and such, so I think they have access to passwords.

The password is stored encrypted in the database.  If you request the password, a query can be sent to the database to decrypt the hash and forward the password via email.  TNT staff don't actually have to see the password itself and no copy of the email needs to be recorded.

As for requesting previous passwords to verify ownership, they can also pass them through the encryption and confirm the hashes match the stored hashes in the database.

It probably doesn't take much effort for TNT to freeze if they see cheating, even if it is at a small scale.

I'd say you're quite lucky and slipping under their radar well.
