My favorite part of sports is the agony of defeat.
Oh the shame of loss. The tears of grown men feed my soul!

Hadn't heard of Gaelic Football so here's Wiki to the rescue.

    http://en.wikipedia....Gaelic_football

Basically a cross-breed of football and rugby, two teams of 15 players try to knock a round ball through an opponent's goal.

Gaelic football is basically what happens when football and rugby refuse to have an abortion

    (it's interesting to watch though)

I hate sports, I don't see how people watch them on TV.

Has to be the single most boring and un-entertaining thing on the planet.

Now, attending a game can be enjoyable although I still find it slightly boring but can get in the spirit and will go as long as there's alcohol to buy. :p lol

My state's sport of choice doesn't surprise me.

It's all anyone ever talks about here. -___-

Not really surprising, but what is the source of that information? Is it most popular spectator sports or some other method of determining the popularity.

Laos and Cambodia literally kick ass! :p

I find daytime talk shows to be more boring than sports. Sometimes people fall down, or get hurt, or get angry and start fighting in sports. I find that highly entertaining. You won't see that shit on the Today Show.

I could probably watch every sport on that list and not be bored, to an extent.

I also think that that image is wrong in the fact that cricket is most definitely NOT the most popular sport in Australia. Either AFL or Rugby are the front runners here....

Yeah definitely! I feel like it's just some generic assumption made because we are part of the Commonwealth.

Well I've never seen cricket, so I'd be willing to watch it at least once.

Of course it's table tennis in China. All about skill since Asians are so physically inferior in every way.

Do you know what "ping pong ball" is in Chinese?

    Bing Bum Boah. Seriously.

I'm surprised it's table tennis in China... when I was there everyone only cared about basketball and football.

Cricket is definitely not the most popular! I personally hate cricket LOL! it's so boring!

Rugby is definitely the most popular! NRL grand finals (might have been state of origins actually) was the second most viewed show in aus in 2011! (the first was the Block's finals lol...)

I'd say that the most popular sport differs depending on the state. For Queensland and New South Wales its probably NRL, but AFL for Victoria. Victorians seem to love all sports though :p Maybe cricket for Tasmania, but I'm not too sure about everywhere else...
