Abrosia switches shop whenever shop has 0 items. Is there a way to change this? It makes buying during HPY impossibly difficult.

That is one of the downsides of having non advanced membership. I'm in the same boat as you (not for long!) so you just need to work around it. I use Igloo + AAA and I do really well so yeah. Just figure it out, you'll be fine =P

Stamps and Books are pretty much constantly at 0.

I forgot to mention, at first, I tried normal shop ABing without advanced membership. I basically got nothing in 12 hours, because it'll refresh a few times, if nothing pops up, then it'll simply jump to another shop. Considering that it only refreshes at 8 seconds minimum too, you can see how this would be pretty crap...

 

Try out igloo + AAA. I get around 200k in 7 hours with those two

 

EDIT: I believe the only way to stick to 'select' shops would be to create a list

Yes, u could create a list, it's not that hard really:) the alternative would be to get advanced.best of luck:)

If you ask me, I would say buying membership is worth it.

You can use store credit earned through doing surveys and buy advanced membership that way. OR, we now have a thing in place where you no longer get advanced automatically at 500 posts. Instead, you are now voted in by other advanced+ users. This generally happens when you get close to 500 non spam posts OR you make a significant contribution to the community. Generally a mix of both of those things though.
