Yesterday, I ran abrosia for the first time and settings were default, but I didn't get any items.
Then I read some guide and changed the General Wait delay to 8.0-8.9, 8.0-8.8, 8.0-8.7. 8.0-8.5 seconds.

For 8.0-8.9s, 2013-04-15 00:02:56 - Bought Baby Tuskaninny Plushie: 2323 NP in 4532ms (Est. Profit: 32379 NP)
But for 8-8.5 & 8.6: I bought 2-3 items and after that it keep saying;

2013-04-15 13:41:12 - Missed Raspberry Aisha Waffle: Refreshed too quickly, or trying to buy in same restock.
And it has missed many items even through the shops, igloo, AAA was fulled.

I bought only one item and was RS banned on 2013-04-15 00:13:28  and I am still banned.
Overall I bought 16 items, 14 from Igloo, 1 from MS, and 1 from AAA.
Profit over for MS: 4000, Igloo: 2000, AAA: 30000

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I might not be able to reply as I am leaving.

and how much you guys AB everday?

I put profit for igloo around 5k and I get a full 10 items over around 5-7 hours. I also put profit on AAA at 20k, but it usually buys 40k items anyway

4532ms is awfully slow. What's your internet connection? How's the speedtest to NY or LA servers? There's not much you can do if you live far away from neopets servers (your ping is high) unless you buy premium or high quality vps to decrease your buy times.

edit: ABer gives "Refreshed too quickly, or trying to buy in same restock." when you try to buy another item from the Igloo in the same restock. There's nothing you can do about that, it's a restriction from TNT.

4532ms is extremely slow so that is likely your first problem. Secondly your refresh times are slow because you don't have advanced member. Being advanced lets you put any interval for the refresh time that you please.

To answer your question on how much we ab a day, I AB for 6 hours a day and max out my AAA items and the average is 2mil per day.

I highly doubt you got only 56 ms to a server in New York or Los Angeles from Pakistan. Without Advanced you can't make the Pre-Haggle and OCR delay much lower so basically you have to use default settings.

Whatever speed test was used, it probably picked the server nearest to the client. This is not representative for your ping to California.

4532ms only slightly reflects your program speed. Here in Arkansas, USA I get like 2000MS buys. When I test my ping from here to a server in LA..this is what I get. So it's unlikely that you, living in whatever middle eastern country, get a better ping then I do to LA.

Nope, it's your internet connection. Speedtest.net gives me a 166ms ping from Germany to LA.

I'm also having trouble and/or I'm just incredibly impatient. The first day I bought quite a few items and made about 200k profit I was however RS banned and since then it's been incredibly little pickings. I've been RS banned on another 2 days (I'm 3 for 4 so far) and I've not made much more after the inital 200k or so. I've had it running for a couple of hours now and I've only bought one item and missed out on another.

    Where am I going wrong?

    My settings are:

    GWD: 5-8s

    Pre-haggle: 0.4-0.7s

    OCR: 0.7-1.2s

    Haggle algorithm: Smart

    Percent: 4.6.

I keep changing my profit from 5k all the way down to 1k to try and see if that makes a difference but it doesn't. Any help is much appreciated.

The most important factor in your ABing is that you're not advanced. This means, you can only lower your settings to a certain limit (I suggest you do this), and you cannot select which shops you AB in (unless you make your own list). I suggest that you disable MS, and stick with igloo and AB

I'm in the same boat as you, so that's what I do. I generally make around 200-300k a night so it's still pretty decent

A bit of tweaking and looking at Scot's guide has helped slightly.

*********** - Missed Tough Girl Gelert Wig: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 294062 NP)
*********** - Missed Charming Lupe Dress: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 73998 NP)

Just a shame I missed out on those though.

I am going to try and run the speed test again.
Quick question: if I use the list for AAA instead of leaving it to run it's own, what are the chances of me getting a profit from the list or no-list?
    Thanks

You guys should not post the times that you AB.  It will be very easy to track who has been ABing at those times.

Does anyone know whether it is better to use your own lists or just the default settings for shops?
