Sooo i have this theory, if you use and auto clicker / auto refresh will it improve your odds on getting random events? 

 

I've left it on over night and all ive gotten was fairy quests and a couple avatars.

The more pages you load, the more "possible" chance you may get an event (since events appear when you reload/move to a page. So by moving from let's say the pound to the pound chat, would be a page reload/move and you might get an RE).

I hope I explained that correctly...

Ironic,I just got a quest right after I posted this and reloaded a board.

So making a transition from page1 to page2 will count as a refresh? Or would refreshing the same page be considered as the same?

Making the transition is more of a page move/load of a new page, which can also get you an random event. Refreshing the same page is also fine to do. (Pulling off the fact I got a quest right after i reloaded the same board page. Quests are random, so they're included in the REs you could get.)

A page move/load of a new page and refreshing the same page both work.

Another example for refreshing the same page: you can do that to get BD challengers (lab ray scientist for one). At the top of each new BD challenger it has "something has happened!", which is the same thing REs say (so they're kinda like REs as well.). I used an auto refresher to get the scientist. (So you can use an auto refresher)

that is true, but leaving it on overnight is probably risky because no one would actually stay up for hours hitting F5 on a neopets page

This. I remember some thread a few months ago of an user asking for an auto refresher and the answer was basically that it's not worth the risk because good random events are so rare. And you're better off just autobuying and picking up events while you're at it.

That my friend, makes way more sense. Ill get the refreshing i was after and ab at the same time.
