Usually, I earn 15-20k on my shop per day, selling books. But since a few days ago, I am earning like 100k, every time I check my shop I have like 100-150 books sold. Has something happened? Did the economy revive somehow? It could be a coincidence if it happened just for a day, but it's been happening for a few days in a row. Have you noticed an increase on sales? Why do you think this is happening?

That's me buying all your stuffs :D

On a serious note though, yes, I have also noticed an increase in my shop traffic.

Usually summer is a bit more busy/active in Neo because all the kids are on vacation.

The recent Awakened boon (Book Smarts or something like that) could increase book sales as well.

I haven't really noticed any increase in sales. Might be specific to books?

Definetely because of the new boon, people that never cared about intellegence suddenly see an easy way to boost it and thus are buying all the cheap, basic books

Haven't sold any books on my end - through they tend to be more expensive so too bad for me. Could be the boon thing

Yeah, someone bought out nearly all my books at once yesterday (different people, too). o.o I went from having a ton of stuff in my shop to close to nothing. I was like 'bzuh.'

    I suspect it's the boon.

For a second I thought this was about the real world economy. Then I looked at the section.

In a serious note, summers always have an increased amount of players, but the player population is still dwindling.

It's actually been pretty stable over the last 7 months or so, averaging about 13k players online.

I've noticed a spike in sales specifically for my books, as already stated I am drawing a direct correlation between my increase in sales to the Boon. That being said I'd sold 4 books so far today worth 50k-90k so... it helps to have a couple thousand for sale I guess?

I'm surprised to see that.  Where do people find that information anyway?  I always thought neopets would dwindle down till it died.

I vaguely remember a way to see how many people are on at a given time, but I can't seem to find that anywhere.

Maybe I'm just insane and that never existed.

I'm still amazed that Neo has managed to have almost 280M accounts in its lifetime over 15 or so years...

I'm curious to see if the 'Book Smarts' boon will be available for Seekers as well... pretty much meaning books will be a good investment for the next week or so

Maybe you had a loyal supporter who camp at your shop everyday and buy many of your books? :)

Yeah every time I stock my shop with codestones, they go INSTANTLY. I know, they've always been a hot commodity, but I mean...they're gone before I can even make a thread to advertsie my shop. O_o

I don't get it. How come people are still buying so many books? If it's increasing intelligence, there are better ways. If it's getting the trophy, it's way too high.

People like to have some sort of goal on Neo..... Why not try and collect books?
